Great detail!!
Holy cow! I didn’t have high hopes for this plaster but I’m super impressed. I needed to make a mold of teeth as an sfx artist. This is perfect! Sets in 45 min and completely dries overnight. Experimented with it for some coasters too and it works great! I was able to paint on them with no issue. MUST be sealed with a waterproof sealant to last a long time. So far, very impressed.

Finally made my first casting
I'm an electronics engineer by education that comes up slightly short of the degree lol, but I'm still very capable and bought this to make some inductor cores as well as produce a variety of devices that use ceramics in electronics. I finally made my first cast using of course this clay, some aluminum oxide and some magnetite and it turned out beautifully. I used a small medicine bottle to produce a cylinder and after it air cured to a block of manmade stone, I baked it to about 700 degrees Fahrenheit ising a heat gun and a disposable "oven" chamber out of aluminum foil.I will continue to make more electronics devices, but also realized I can mix some of this with sand and aluminum oxide in a dish and once it's converted into manmade stone, I'll have a really nice and easy nail file to take car of my nails because I'm a guitarist lol! The ability to make a file in something like an Altoids container and just shred my nails to perfect smoothness and depth in seconds is something I've literally sought for years and while I could just buy something like a coarse sharpening stone, I think making my own is more my style as an artist and a scientist.I will buy more of this when I use this bag up.

Amazing Product
I am totally impressed with this product: easy to use and really strong. The instructions on the package does not clarify the 3:1 mixing ratio as 'by volume' or 'by weight', but as it is a consumer product I assumed 'by volume' which worked for me. As far as strength, it is unexpectedly strong for a 'plaster' material: I am having problems drilling holes even with a carbide drill bit. The mixture seems to expand a slight amount durng curing, as I had difficulty removing the 'set' mixture from make-shift molds.

Perfect cast is a perfect 10!
This stuff is awesome. With just a few cups of water, it becomes a magical liquid that will fit any cast and harden to create a beautiful mold. The mold is strong, durable and can aid in the creation of just about anything.I used plaster strips to create the shape of my husband's face, and then I filled that cast with this casting material. It gave me a mold of his face, which I was then able to turn into a gremlin mask that will fit his face perfectly. We are now so ready for Halloween!

Easy to work with, final results much harder than plaster
I will absolutely be buying this product again. Measuring by volume for small amounts makes this easy to measure without a precise scale. Mixing was easy, product incorporates into water extremely well. For my small castings I tend to mix with a popsicle stick in a plastic drinking cup so no special mixing tools are required. I demolded after 1 hour (the piece was still warm at this point) and left on the shelf for 48 hours to fully dry/cure. I can't comment on surface bubbles on the finished piece as I put my molds in a vacuum chamber to degas. Sanding off the pouring basin/sprue yielded a very clean and smooth finish. Very happy with the results.

I am about to order again.
Works very well. Used a model made with this material to do leather wet molding. Held up until I dropped the model on a concrete floor. Much better than molding with hydronic cement which is too brittle.

I continue to reorder this product!
I bought this to do a life casting of a friend's hands. She is fighting cancer and I wanted them to have her and her husband's hands clasped as a keepsake. I have done three castings now. Working on a four generation casting now. I am very happy with Perfect Cast casting material. It is very hard, not nearly as fragile and lightweight as plaster of Paris. It is very heavy and easy to work with. I continue to reorder this product as needed. I have been very happy with this product.
