I replaced my R.O. membrane with this membrane after extensive research online. A local R.O. guy came and installed sediment filter, carbon filter, uv light n NF membrane. It's easy to install just like an ordinary R.O. membrane. Any professional working in field of water purifier technology can install it. My water TDS was as low as 45 coz of R.O. filter. My tank TDS is 450. Now after installing this d tds of drinkable water is 100-130.The water tasted sweet now as compared to earlier. It is a product which should be promoted irrespective of whatever tds your area has. As this nf comes with different models for different tds of water. Replace this nf with ur R.O. membrane as much soon as possible to drink good quality of water

After going through all the article related to RO and water condition, I decide to go with nano filter as it best serves the purpose. Nano filter is as effective as a RO as both remove all the micro-organisms/virus/chemical/lead/arsenic present in water while reducing the TDS. There is no difference is water quality except the TDS level when comparing RO with nano filter. While RO suppress the TDS to below 50, then you have to use mineral/alkaline cartridge to bring back the optimal TDS level but in case of nano filter it is in range of 150-400 PPM which save your money on using additional mineral cartridge. Also, TDS adjuster in RO is a big scam so never fall for that marketing gimmick, if you have TDS controller in your existing RO then stop using it, ask technician to close that valve.Go with RO only when your water is not consumable even only one time or even after using some gravity filter, if those conditions are not true then you do not need a RO. Also, water wastage in RO is much higher like for every one glass of water, you are draining 3 glasses of water.I am using NF-40 filter and my tap water TDS is around 450 PPM, after using this filter TDS drop to 225 PPM and water wastage is around little bit more than one glass for every one glass of water (50-55% wastage). Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Long / Detailed review after continuous dialy use for 1 month. (Frustrated) (kindly bear with me)*Some key info before the review , i have been in water purification industry as a businessman and tech from last 12+ years.*I am a kent Ro system user from last 10+ years.*I read about nanofiltration many times and finally decided to give it a go this year as it was time to replace the Ro membrane.(Even though the reviews of knl nf60 were very mixed).*Before installing knl nf60 , I decided to reassemble my Kent Ro system with genuine kent spares to restore it to prestine condition.*I replaced every Inline Filter , every pipe , every connector/elbow , new Flow Restrictor 450, new float sensor ,new membrane housing ,Spun filter , checked my pump pressure , everything for optimum performance.(Basically a new purifier)Now the review:[Raw water tds is roughly 360ppm]1) After installing the membrane , i flushed about 40+ litres and the tds wouldn't go below 205 [which is around 43% reduction]. (CLAIMED TDS REDUCTION IS 60-70%].2) As a tech , i rechecked everything despite doing everything to prefection, so that there is everything perfect on our end before informing the seller. [Even replaced new membrane housing with another new one for double checking , No change in output tds of'course].3)Contacted the seller , and got a very generic response with a few points to check on our end for issues because apparently the seller has " never gotten a complaint and they use the same in their purifiers".4) I politely replied that i have double checked everything and the result is the same.[THE SELLER IGNORED MY MESSAGE AND NEVER REPLIED]5)Decided to keep it and see if things change because *I bought it to test the performance before ordering it in bulk and introducing it to my customers*.[WHICH I WILL NOT]6)After a few days the reduction increased to 47%(maybe due to the use of FR-550] , still nowhere close to the claim of 60-70%.7)After 3+ weeks , contacted the seller on whatsapp , did not tell them who i was and explained the issue and they started asking many questions from me to find any fault at my end. I gave them proper reply to every little technical detail.Their final response was "THERE MUST BE SOME OTHER PROBLEM" ." WE HAVE NEVER GOTTEN ANY COMPLAINT " WE HAVE MANY REGULAR BUYERS" .[ Lol really? ]** The SELLERs have a BIG bag of EXCUSES and nothing else, they will try to confuse and convince you that there is something wrong with your system or your water pressure , booster pump etc . ANYTHING BUT THEIR "PRODUCT".[Because their product if assumingly perfect LOL]** I asked for replacement , they said there is no warranty ,And i have to send it to them on my own expense and they will "check" the product .Of'course i didn't send it back , i lost confidence/trust in your brand after talking to you.I will think a 100 times over before dealing with this company.Thank goodness i did a test before putting in a bigger order.FINAL WORDS : *It works ,but not even close to the claimed performance.If it doesn't meet the claim, then what good is it? The whole point of Nanofiltration was reduction capability according to tds and this doesn't do that. Where is your accountability and customer service? No regard for customer's hard earned money. Just Excuses. Trying to fool the customer by confusing them and convincing them the fault is on their end. PATHETIC .#This was my personal experience , take it as you will.Hope it help others in making an informed and sound decision.Thank you for reading if you made it this far.

I have purchased this membrane twice now. I had been using a branded RO water purifier for a long time. After coming across many articles and posts regarding the harmful effects of very low TDS water, I tried to find a good alternative. Found this product which seemed to be good.It maintains a TDS of 160 approx as compared to RO membrane which reduces it to 50-60. I could feel the difference in 2 days. Cramps reduced, taste of water is way better because it's alkaline (6.8). Overall, a great decision and a good buy.PS - TDS controller in RO system is a farce, absurd. It just remixes a concentrated solution full of bacteria and virus back in filtered water.

Not worling good on my ro, we have mixed water, tap water TDS IS 700 after using this membrane tds is coming low, but water quality is bad
