Great feeler gauge - Good Quality and Good Value.
Great feeler gauge. Good Quality and Good Value. There was a review listed and I Quote: (there was Too much disparity between the gauges are useless if you're trying to do specific tolerances. They jump from .010, 020, 030, etc. If you're trying to measure something that's .021 you can't.) Evidently the person does not realize that if they want to measure .021 all they need to do is put the .020 and .001 gauges together and they would be able to measure the .021. """ Some people should not use tools !!!! """Overall, the Sata feeler gauges are great. If you need super high accuracy, then look at MITUTOYO or STARRETT and be ready to pay for the names!

Awesome
Great selection of sizes, markings are clear and priced right.

Covered in oil, but other than that very useful
I bought them to use leveling my 3D printer. They worked very well for that. The only negative is they were completely covered in oil out of the box. I know, rust prevention, but this was overkill.

This product was everything I expected
My 40 year old feeler gauge was feeling it's age plus it only went as small as .0015". This one goes down to .0008 and is every bit as high quality as my now retired old too was. Came with a film of light oil on it which was appreciated. I'm sure this tool will outlive me.

Great set of feeler gauges
My primary use for this set of feeler gauges is for setting the depth on the rakers on my chainsaw. I knew the rakers needed to be filed down periodically and I used to do it just by running a file over each raker a couple of times when I sharpened by chains. Not good enough. I checked the specs for my chain and got the correct raker depth. Using the feeler gauge makes getting the right depth a certainty - no more guess work.

Great set - and yes, they're oiled...
Bought these to gauge guitar string spacing and they did that just fine aside from the fact that they're well oiled - attacked the blades I needed with a paper towel. One of the cheapest sets of feelers on Amazon, it has a slightly wider range of measurements and a nice thumb tight-enable nut instead of a Philips head to clamp in position (or take apart to just grab a blade or three).

Feeler gauge set needs locking knurled nut
The gauges are nice and somewhat oily, but they are legible in standard inches and metric. My only issue is that unbeknownst to me the knurled nut fell off and when I set the gauge down the post bolt fell out a bit so I had several loose gauges in my hand. It was not easy to put back. I would recommend a locking knurled nut or just a locking nut for these. Otherwise they are nice.

Maybe not great for 3D printers
Nothing wrong with the product itself. But I bought it to measure distance from 3D printer nozzle to bed height. The bed is magnetic and the gauges are iron. So you don’t get a clean feel of when it hits the nozzle since it sticks to the bed. Also the bent end doesn’t work for me to get around the hot end and fan assembly so straight would have been better. And finally, I didn’t do a good job removing the oil and it got in my bed so caused first layer sticking problems! All my own fault and not a problem with the product itself.
