R Series Mega Torch

I bought this in 2015 - it's now 2022 and after all those years of nearly daily use and many refills, it still works just like new! Amazing! The performance is great overall, makes a nice big fat flame that can be easily controlled. Not much else to say. The torch is currently unavailable here on this listing, but if you can find it elsewhere I'd highly recommend buying it.

Ordered this Torch thinking it was the mini series as my Mini series just broke. So a quick replacement for 30 bucks wasn't a big deal, considering I payed 60 for the mini in the first place. So 3 Days later I get a HUGE torch for half the price of my smaller torch. Great deal! Been using it every day ever since. Holds a Lot of butane compared. The only real complaint I have is the base of the torch is very loose and falls off too often. Might just slap a piece of paper in there to tighten it up. Anyways, great product, great price.

Worked great for a few weeks. Then one day while I was trying to light the torch the tip shot off. When I tried to return it I was told I couldn’t, when I contacted ThisThingRips warranty department I was informed if the product is bought on amazon it isn’t covered under their warranty. It blatantly is stated in their terms and conditions.

Kind of late on my review but it worked for a couple months but no longer holds butane so it's no longer working. So I'm dissatisfied

I love this torch, I only have two problems. First, I didn’t get a base with it.. that took off one star. I imagine they’ll fix that for me and I’ll update. My other issue is the soft flame. It’s a really cool feature, but you can’t keep it switched to soft flame. I was hoping to use this for dabbing and for smoking, but the switch for the soft flame is on a spring and has to be held in place to be used. !!!Please #ThisThingRips in your next version make this a solid switch so it can be lit as a hard or soft flame!!! All in all #ThisThingRips is the best torch I’ve ever had, I now have this and their micro (same size flame!) 1/12/17 update Got in contact with Amazon. They couldn’t send a new base and told me to return and and they’d refund me so I could reorder it??? I ended up settling for a $10 gift card and keeping my incomplete torch. I was going to drop a star for that but the torch is great, this was Amazons bad. Side note, the torch is REALLY comfortable in hand.

I've gone through a lot of torches since I've started dabbing, specifically this is my fourth Scorch torch but this specific model is the nicest one I've had so far and I've had it for longer than any other torch and it's still performing like the day I bought it. Update: been using this torch for about 2 years now and although it still works almost every time the ignition is starting to fail but it is nowhere near needing to be thrown away. I ordered another one because I'm going to a festival where I'll be hosting a dab booth and I don't want people to have to wait on me but when I get back home I will still be using the original torch I got from these guys 2 years ago and the new one that I just ordered is just bonus :-) still absolute best torch for the money and by the way if you haven't seen their "Rig Edition" pens... you have not seen a vape pen yet! Awesome company. 👌 products!
