Great All-Around Mixer!
This is a mighty mixer. Have used it for mashed potatoes, batters of all kinds, cookie doughs, whipping, beating. Powerful motor and love it has adjustable 7 speeds. Beater bars are easy to clean and work better than the traditional blade type. Accessories attach easily and quickly. This is very handy to use for smaller jobs without pulling out a stand mixer. This will do it all, but use your stand mixer for handling thick and heavy doughs. This is for your smaller jobs that you need to use quickly and easily. A well-equipped kitchen needs a stand and hand mixer, and this is a great mixer to compliment your stand mixer in the kitchen. And it being a Kitchen-Aid

Great small beater with good power.
Easy to use, store and clean.

Real good handheld mixer.
Low speed is low so you're not going to be slinging stuff. It's not as powerful as a stand mixer but who would have that expectation? But it handled the thick wedding cookie dough. It is quiet enough that the spouse on the zoom call in the next room had no complaints. (I ordered the beaters with the rubberized ends. Highly recommended.) Only complaint: The switch buttons don't have a quality feel.

Good product but no protecion of the hand mixers box or product.
Slap a label on the mixer box and send it out. What has happened to Amazons packing? So many items arriving like this! Great product but bad delivery.

Replacement for Cusinart
Cuisinart lock mechanism quit retaining one beater. This was highly recommended and is working well as the replacement. Good functioning unit time well tell as to durability.

Small but handy!
Ok, I own one of these already and just bought this one for my mom. Even though I own the huge 6 qt. professional Kitchen Aid, I find myself reaching for this guy all the time. The 6 qt. mixer seems like a really good idea until you realize that almost every normal recipe is too small for it. That's where this handy dandy little guy comes in. I use it for everything from whipping eggs for breakfast, whipping cream, creaming butter etc... and it always does the job. What I love: * The style of the beaters. I still remember the old style that used the flattened metal for the beaters. These thin rounded ones are totally where it's at! If you haven't tried this style I highly recommend giving it a spin. * great control over speed, mine has 6 speed settings. * Lots of power for a hand mixer. I've owned cheaper units in the past and let me tell you, there's a HUGE difference! This one is worth the extra $ * Easy to operate, it always ejects the beaters, performs consistently etc... * Great size to just leave out on the counter. Aaaaaand I'm totally jealous her mixer comes with the extra wisk attachment, I didn't get one! My only complaint is that I wish it went one speed higher. I find myself wishing it would whip a little faster at the top end for whipping cream etc... However, don't think it won't do the job. It has always been great for me, it's just personal preference that has probably been formed from years of using stand mixers. If you need to upgrade but can't afford the full on stand mixer, I highly suggest giving this a try. Granted, it won't have the power on the top end for thick batters or bread etc... but for almost everything you'd need, it will do the job and do it well.

Great mixer!!!
I read hundreds of reviews on this before purchasing it. Some people didn’t like the controls, but I didn’t find an issue with them. I liked that you turn it off to the right, as that is the natural way your thumb would move as a right handed person. I didn’t find the speed control up/down buttons to be difficult, either; I found it extremely convenient, but do agree it is easier to operate with shorter finger nails. The low speed is very low, and I LOVE that it always starts on low. I made a pound cake where I add in 1/2 cup of cake flour and an egg every two minutes. This was extremely convenient because each time I stopped to add more ingredients, the mixer started on low and nothing blew all over the counters. It was easy to then move back to speed 4 to mix things. With regard to the beaters, there is a diagram where you insert the beaters that shows you that the larger one (with a washer-type piece) goes in the right one. The pieces without the washer-type piece (the other beater and the whisk) are designed to fit in either hole. If you read the instruction manual or follow the diagram, I don’t see where you would have an issue, unless you receive a defective mixer in which case, send it back. The power of this mixer can be deceiving because of its quiet operation. If you associate speed with the noise you hear with most mixers, you will likely be disappointed. If you enjoy the quiet operation and watch the mixer do it’s job, you will likely LOVE it as I do.

Powerful, well balanced, lightweight, easy to clean.
I decided on this Kitchenaid hand mixer after my other one (Cuisinart) died. I selected the seven speed model as being most useful for my needs. I couldn’t wait to try it out on my favorite recipe "Frozen Brandy Pie" which requires whipped egg yolks, and whipped cream, etc. This KitchenAid mixer did not seem to be as fast as my other one but I kept going….wow! It whipped both these ingredients in half the time it took before. To make homemade butter; take 1 cup heavy cream (at 65 degrees /important), Speed #7 about 3 minutes. Cleaning is too easy. Run beaters in container of soapy water til clean, rinse, pop out of mixer base, air dry in rack. The manual does not give a wattage power rating so how can you compare? Being retired and having nothing else to do but play with and research new gadgets, I went to the website and learned wattage is not the best indicator of power. This mixer runs on a DC motor instead of an AC motor which is completely different. Website states DC motors are; 20% more powerful, quieter, lighter weight, lower wattage, energy efficient, and uses only enough power to mix the product at whatever speed you select. I love the slow start feature, it totally eliminates those pesky wall washing projects. I waited about two years to give my review so I could test it out under many conditions. I use it almost daily, and I love ❤️ it, I would give it 10 stars ⭐️ if I could. My KitchenAid K5SS stand mixer always available if needed for big bread baking days.

We're very happy with this mixer. It's a major improvement over our old mixer which splattered batter everywhere. Let's hope it lasts a long time.

This is the best hand mixer I have ever used. It is very quiet even on a high speed. It whips even dense items easily. There are seven speed settings so there are lots of options for all your recipes. I highly recommend this mixer. Catherine Chapman
