KitchenAid KMT2115 Toaster for Bagel 2 Slice, Silver

Even toasting..none of the usual stripes. It browns evenly. . I ordered Contour Silver..great color..looks retro. This toaster is worth the money. I'm tired of junk. It is a solid appliance..not too heavy and not too lightweight. I checked many stores before I found this one on Amazon. Pay the extra money and buy a quality appliance...

Perfect for toasting and even has a bagel selection so I can toast on one side of the bagel. I paid a little more but so totally worth it. This takes me back to my childhood when we had high quality brand appliances that lasted forever. Will purchase again. Go with the tried and true brands. You can’t go wrong.

Great product, easy to use

It does toast the toast. Make sure there are no bubble holes in your bread though. Those seem to burn. Also if you are making more than 2 pieces turn down the setting for the second set of 2. Once it's heated up it seems to keep the same setting for the second set and burns it.

UPDATE: After a few uses, the "pop up" on this new toaster stopped working. I returned it- just another flimsy toaster. I didn't want to spend so much, but I ended up purchasing a Breville which seems to be of a much higher quality. Hopefully it performs. Bonus- it's easy to turn down or mute the beep! ORIGINAL REVIEW: After having to trash my not-so-old $25 toaster, I perused what’s available here and got high reviews. I settled on this one, still basic but seemed to be a little better quality than the cheapest ones. So far it’s fine, except for one thing. WHY do we need a beep? And a kind of loud beep too. I have enough things in my house that beep already. Just the sound of the toast popping up works just fine. I was surprised because nowhere in the instructions does it mention any beeping. I saw the posts where you can take out the beeper, but I don’t really wanna mess with something that has the potential to catch on fire. So hopefully this will last longer than the last one, but I wish it didn’t have that dumb beep.

I have only had one Kitchen Aide in my life that was just ok. Everything else including my new toaster is amazing. The color hasn't got that Sparkly Candy Apple Color. It is called Empire Red. It is fine, but I did think it would be more Candy Apple. Even my car is. But other than that, let me tell you about my new one. It is perfect in size, slightly larger than my old one. I don't worry about burnt fingers with the lift. I love the lift. It has a really nice size crumb catcher with the kitchen aide logo on it, There are 5 speeds and they toast evenly on all. The holder inside inside cooks evenly on both sides and I tested them out for that reason, just don't use sticky stuff on the bread (like a dirty knife and then put it in and maybe that will help with toasting. I don't plan on having to watch through the openning. The cord is fairly short, but they all are that way today. Other than shade of color, I love my toaster and I highly recommend it.

Works great, sturdy weight and nice look. A little pricey though.

Not what we expected from that brand !To start:It is uselessly huge for the capacity.The temperature or timer control is off for a lot, we had only been able to use it a the very low setting, and if use consecutively it will burn your bread.There is no way to clean the inside, the cleaning trade is pretty small, the you’ll have to shake the hell of it every time you want to get the crumbs out of it. All that crumb stock in there and the shaking must had cause to work even worse now a year and so after.Now, it doesn’t toast, it pop up few seconds from been turn on.Don’t waste your hard earned money on this, unless you want it just for display!
