If you watch and listen to custom keyboard reviews you will almost always hear at least one sound test with GMK keycaps. There is a reason for that, they have been the gold standard since Cherry sold them the original tooling many years ago. This classic WoB set, a must for any enthusiast - it just goes with everything, came in the standard GMK cardboard trays and all the keys were perfect. Yes I agree they could have better packaging but it did it's job protecting the keys and works well for storage of the extra key caps as well. These definitely give that classic GMK ABS sound, have just the right amount of texture and are a joy to use. They will eventually shine but that takes a while for most people. While some may balk at this to me it's a badge of honor in many ways. It show how much it's been used and loved. If you are looking for that classic look and feel or just want your first GMK set, you can't go wrong with these. The good thing is that if for some reason you don't like them you can probably sell them to one of us keyboard addicts always looking for an extra set. :)

GMK is one of the premier keycap makers, based in Germany, and has been making them since the early 2010's. They make some very nice, thick ABS keycaps, in very vivid colorways and with doubleshot manufacturing processes. This means the legends won't fade, and you will notice, the legend quality is nearly unmatched compared especially to some of the $20-$40 keycap sets out there. The letters are all clear, lined up properly, spaced evenly from the edges of each key, and as they are doubleshot, they will never wear away. This is a keycap set for connoisseurs, and if you know what you're getting, you won't think the price is bad at all, ESPECIALLY if you catch them on sale under $100 like I did. Also, Drop is a great vendor, and they are the ones you're really buying these keycaps from. Great set of caps, thanks Drop, and thanks GMK!

I’ve been wanting some GMK keycaps for a while to match my setup and obviously have known about Drop for a long time, so I’d seen this WoB set before. I had a decent Amazon gift card on hand, so I figured why not! I’m very happy I did. Delivered next day, put them on my Keychain Q1 Pro, and they not only look great but sound great. I like how the home row J and F keys don’t have a raised bump but rather a deeper indent for my index fingers and the white accent keys are perfect to match my setup. I will have enough keycaps to replace the caps on my separate numpad as well in the future. The caps were all in perfect condition when they arrived, and had great recycled and recyclable packaging. 10/10! Not sure why some people are complaining about their orders. No issues here

What an absolutely beautiful keycap set. The black color is extremely dark and rich, the legends are super crisp, and the feel of them on some Gateron Oil Kings is phenomenal. They are pricey, but you know certainly do get what you pay for. This is by far the best WoB keycap set I've used.

Not impressed at all packaging laughable for a $120-$150 purchase. If you can tell the difference from any other decent keycaps your lying to yourself.

Well priced considering. Staple WoB cap set that most should have in their collection. Spacebar. > PBT ones. Tried what I can to fix my spacebar stabs and PBT just can't get rid of the slight rattle on a specific side (even with hot water workaround). The GMK spacebar sounded like there weren't any issues. Definitely recommending this purchase as its from Amazon. So shipping with Prime has been quick. Hope this helps. Have a good day.

Terrible quality for gmk, one cap had a line through the doubleshot letter and covered the entire cap. 6u spacebar did have a bit of warping. Ended up returning the set.

I've previously bought GMK Wob directly from Drop years ago and my original set has shined a lot since then. I wanted another set for a new keyboard build. The box was a bit roughed but I at least it is genuine and it was a new box (not returned). I verified the content and all the keys were present in the trays. Luckily, none of my spacebars or mods were warped. Once mounted, all the keys and font were straight. Many might ask why this is so expensive for an ABS set? Well, like most things, you are buying for the brand. Also, not many manufacturer do doubleshot keycaps. As for price, GMK sets go between 150CAD to 250CAD without shipping from Canadian vendors. Honestly, GMK has the best keycap font in the market. Finally, the sound is legendary if you put them on a quality board. Obviously, these will shine faster than PBT, but that's the trade off. The value isn't there if you really aren't into keyboards or not looking for differences between a cheaper set of keycaps. I own a dozen of GMK sets and this has probably been one of my best experience yet. Having this available on Amazon is great! Overall super happy with the set!

Great quality ABS keycaps. Worth paying extra to bypass the months of delivery when ordering from Drop

Standard GMK - good quality, great thickness, clear legends. Space bars are straight and flat. However, the ISO keys are for US ISO only, which has the hilarity of having two backslash keys. Some sprue marks that really shouldn't be there on keycaps this expensive but not a significant issue.

Rather expensive on Amazon.ca, but I suppose that is to be expected for stuff from Drop coming into Canada. Fortunately the kitting is everything that the majority of users are going to need. IMHO paying the GMK premium is worth it. Legends are crisp, feel is great, and sound is that distinct clack that many enthusiasts know and love. You should know that ABS shines over time, I personally thought this imparted a nice character on my well-loved board but you may feel differently. The reviews re: these not being up to normal GMK standards is a little concerning, but speaking to what I recieved, these were completely in line with my sets from other buys.

Having owned a set of the R1 GMK Skidata and having them compared to this side by side cast some doubt over the material used for this GMK WOB. They felt fairly paltry to the touch, lacking the solidness of my Skidata. If it's any consolation, the legends are sharp but a tad bit too bold for a White on Black colorway. Figured i'd get a GB aftermarket GMK or even others
