VIOFO Suction Cup Mount For A119 A119S A119 PRO Car Dash Camera

Unfortunately, this just does not work at all with the VIOFO A119 V3. I cleaned the glass and cup with 70% isopropyl alcohol, waited for them to dry, then mounted. It fell within a minute. I tried putting some water in the cup as I mounted it (this works for other suction cups), same failure. Bummer, I did not want to have to use the adhesive tape to mount to my windshield. The suction cup mount that I used for my previous dashcam, which I used in the same spot, in the same car, did not have this problem.

Very tiny and decent construction. It's easy to setup and the suction is REALLY strong so I feel confident that it'll stay mounted. Too bad the GPS module isn't compatible with this mount but if you don't need that feature then you're good with getting this suction mount which I totally recommend!

Suction cup seems to work at first, but cannot hold a vacuum; on multiple occasions I would mount the suction cup on the windshield and within a half hour, the vacuum would be lost and the dashcam would fall, potentially damaging the camera or becoming a distraction while driving. Item is prone to failure and very overpriced ($30!) but necessary because of the mounting head that is unique to this camera. Try to find this mount somewhere else if possible and avoid suction cups.

Needed a suction mount because I wanted to install a A119s on my rear window and I have tinted windows. I used the 3M tape on the front windshield and it works great but I didn't want to damage my tint on the rear window if I need to remove it. The suction holds it tight, there is no sticky adhesive on the suction cup. There are two ways to adjust the dash cam for the angle you want. Easy to remove if you want to use this for travel purposes.

Suction device is Garbage ; attached to my windshield which is parked in my garage with no sun or heat and within a few minutes it fell off, tried again , within a few minutes again just fell off; I didn’t even have the Camera attached to the thing !!! I put double faced tape on the suction cup to keep it from falling ; defeated the purpose of removing anytime when not using;
