High quality,delicious
I love to eat red lentils.But most brands have an orange water when washing or have sth that I do not trust.I bought this product with doubt at first and for trial purposes. I think it is a very high quality lentil.No orange water flows when washing. Easy to cook.Very delicious and easy .Also fresh. Appearance and packaging are very enviroment friendy.Good value for a nice product.I think I will buy bigger size of this next.

Good mild flavor
Good product. They cook up quickly, and have a good flavor. I use these as a base for a lot of soups and sauces; goes well with onion and other veggies as a base. My wife didn't like lentils much until I started cooking these for her.

Great budget protein!
My husband and I started exploring plant based proteins when chicken started costing more than we were willing to pay.We had been buying bags of lentils from the store, but discovered these. We dig em. They make great meals if you don’t think of them as meat replacements - they’re just making a totally different meal. We have to eat more to fill up, but they are comically low in calories, so also a fantastic food if you’re managing what you’re eating. We’ve made them into tacos, stews, and spaghetti sauces - with plans to attach some lentil burgers and other stuff soon. They end up being less than $1 for a generous serving, which is a glorious thing with the price of groceries right now. We also like that the company seems to be solid and we are theoretically enjoying a better-for-us product with higher nutritional value. If you have started eating more plant proteins, grab one of these big bags instead of constantly relying on your grocery store to hopefully maybe possibly carry enough for your meal plan.

Delicious without a bunch of dead ones that I have to pick out when washing. Love the fabric packaging, We reuse it to wrap ice packs for the kids when they have owies but don't want ice against their skin. We have this on subscription and eat probably every other week!

Not 4 pounds
I weighed the bag it is not 4 pounds it is 3 1/2 pounds. Other great tasting lentil cooks up nice. When it says 4 pounds it should be 4 pounds that is what I paid for. Not sure if I will buy them again or not
