New 2.0 Child Wristband

This is great to have some peace of mind. My parents live next to pool and lake and we keep this on the kids all the time while there. It’s their “watch”. Make sure to always keep it in your kid. Sometimes it gets a little sensitive and alarms if my toddler gets sweaty while sleeping but I don’t care bc if he fell in the water it would definitely alarm us.

We've found that these bracelets work really well. My kids (1 and 4) have been wearing them all summer (4 months so far) and they have forgotten about them. We just turn the base off for baths and swimming. It very rarely has a false alarm. We also really appreciated the excellent customer service we received when we needed a replacement part. Highly recommend!

We have 3 of them (Yes we have triplets) 2/3 thread through very easy, but 1 has a problem threading back through should you let the band come all the way out. We were able to finally get it back through but with the help of some tools. If that continues to be an issue we'll contact for a replacement. Other than that they all worked great.

I bought this because I didn't want to drill into the pool decking. I worked perfectly and all of us had confidence that if we were home the piercing noise would be an ALARM! ALL three kids were excited to put on their turtle bracelets in the morning :)

The photo show the product from the old unit 8102 but what was shipped was the 2.0 version. The photo shows the small turtle chip that goes into the sending unit but it does not come with the newer version. I have owned a safety turtle unit for 18 years and was not aware there was a newer one.

Idk why this product doesn’t have 5 stars. It couldn’t be easier to set up, the new turtle bracelets work with our previously purchased home base without any setup or connecting at all and the bracelets work fantastic, the alarm is super loud and the kids WANTED to wear the turtles.

We purchased 4 Safety Turtles; one never worked, and the other stopped working perhaps 45 days after purchase. Our calls to the company were not answered and the voice mails we left were ignored. The two remaining safety turtles do function, hence the two star rating. However, Due to their unreliability and the utter failure of the company to stand behind its product, I would not recommend purchasing them.

great idea but if you could leave it on! you have to take it off everytime the baby takes a bath so its not so secure because of the hassle of always having to take it off and on.
