This extension is for Victron Energy Blue Smart IP65 12-V 15-A Charger w/ 180 Watts out, This cord is rated @ 40watts. am I missing something?

The charger put out a max of 15 Amp at 12 volts and the extension works perfectly with my IP65 I have no idea about the watts, but so far the cables do not hot when in use and it the fastest battery charger I own. Joe
