Good product
They came well packaged not much danger for breakage and all work no flickering and they are about 30% brighter. The biggest hassle was changing out the tombstones

Absolutely love these light!!!!
Great LED T8 style lights. So nice and bright. So happy to be done with ballasts! Easy to install if you have basic electrical knowledge.

Excellent LED Replacement for 48" Florescent Bulbs
Previous owner of my home installed 10 florescent fixtures in the basement (he got them free when his employer upgraded their light fixtures). I had previously replaced the bulbs in two of the fixtures with this same type of LED, but a different manufacturer. Those bulbs were clear, so you can see the LEDs along the light while these Sunco bulbs are frosted. I will probably replace the ones installed previously since I purchased a bundle of 30 (it was the cheapest way to get at least the 14 I needed under the Prime Day Special). You do need a small amount of DIY to rewire the fixtures, but it is not difficult. The results were fantastic, the basement is brighter and I am using 1/3 of the electricity. Now I just need to haul the old bulbs and ballasts to the Hazardous Waste Disposal Site in our town.

Easier to retrofit my old system than I thought
I have a newer house but the electrician had fluorescent lights left over from another job and it saved us some money. 5 years later I wanted to upgrade them as they were using a lot more energy than I had thought. The old system had shunted tombstones and ballasts. The good news is the new lights need way less wiring than the old ones did. Once I did the first one it was time consuming but quite simple. I was actually able to remove the shunt from the old tombstone on the powered end and just cut the wires on the other end and leave than tombstone shunted.I have 24 tubes, so it still uses quite a bit of power (albeit about half of what it replaced), but it's brighter and won't smash and poison me if it gets hit.Overall it was worth doing, and was easier than I expected.

Make sure you check your batch of tubes before 30 days are up.
I like how easy they are to install and are very bright. The bad is one of them is broken and I am past the 30 day warranty . The bulbs are still a great deal.

They have held up well so far.
I bought about 250 of these bulbs. Used about 200. Not a bad one in the bunch. It has been about 5 months and not one died yet. You do have to rewire the fixtures. It takes time and some work. (BTW if you use the LEDs that still use the ballast, there is almost no energy savings.) By bypassing (removing) the ballast you save over 80%+ of the power. I checked with an ammeter to be sure. Some light fixtures may have tombstones that need to be replaced. (They have internal shunts)I have had a few bulbs 6? that had a flicker. (like an AC flicker). It was not really noticeable unless you were looking right at them.Maybe slightly dimmer than fluorescent tubes, but could be the color difference. BTW I like the frosted a lot better than the clear. Clear seem to glare and feel not as bright. At the time, it was a good price and they are working well.
