Great product
I have thick Asian hair and this is the only product that is ever worked for me. It holds all day and doesn’t feel or look greasy.

Great styling tool.
My hairdresser recommended this. It only takes a VERY small amount to get the results I want. Works well on my coarse, gray, thick hair.

Great for short hair.
I love this stuff. It's stiff. And it makes my short hair get that body that I want and spikes.

A must for short, straight, limp hair!
Very dense product. That said, you only need a tiny amount which you rub into your fingertips and sparingly pull through those areas you want to control and lift. It is a great alternative to hairspray and helps to keep your hair style natural looking. My hair is short and needs help keeping the hair around my cowlick in place! I can’t speak about its use on long hair, but I think for short, straight hair that has little or no body, it is a must!

Will buy again...for sure!!!
Luv this. Just the right amount of control and body. Not heavy or sticky. Does not make my scalp itch. Will last a long time, with my short hair.

Excellent hold for medium short hair
I use this wax in conjunction with Smooth Viking Holding Cream (High Hold + Matte) to achieve a hairstyle somewhere between a "Side Part" and "Messy." I have medium short hair, which is about 1" long (basically a #8 if you were to use clippers), so my hair is a little too long to style with gel, but still short enough where it will resist even medium hold creams/waxes. The Smooth Viking cream is a little cheaper per volume and has a matte finish, so I start styling my hair with that product, then finish off the front comb over with the Paul Mitchell wax.Word of warning: it's really easy to overuse the wax. Hair lengths and styles will likely vary the amount you'll need to use, but start with a less than a pinch on your first go. I love that this wax remains pliable throughout the day, so if my hair is disturbed I can brush my fingers through it to fix it. Only complaint is because it remains tacky/greasy throughout the day, it also easily clings to floating dust (or animal fur if you have pets) in the air. For that reason, and because it's slightly glossy, I would not use this product on my entire head of hair.

Literally the worst pomade I have ever used.
This isn’t pomade, it’s waterproof wax. I put a pinky tip finger amount in my hair and it made my hair look like it was oily and hadn’t been washed in days. I hated it so much I took a shower after a full business day of having it in my hair. It didn’t come out. It’s like I put marine wax in my hair that is 100% waterproof or something. I washed my hair four times. Still feels like it’s there. Three days after use and I still am not sure it’s all out yet. When I say this is the worst pomade I have ever used, I mean it quite literally. This isn’t an emotional rant of rage… it’s a factual post about this insanely bad hair product. I love Paul Mitchell products so I am shocked this is as bad as it is. I literally used a finger tip of it and threw it away. Unless I needed to patch my river waders, tent or seal up a boat — probably the only things this waterproof wax is good for — I had zero desire to ever put this on my head again. Hundreds of better products out there. Steer clear of this one.
