I love this snap fastener! I sew and it saves me so much time. The kit comes with a good variety of colors & 804 snaps! It's great quality for the price & easy to use! The snaps are a little big for the small doll clothes I make but better than sewing them on.

I knitted a baby onesie as a gift and wasn’t excited about trying to sew on snaps. I found this tool and didn’t know if it would work on fairly thick knit fabric, but it worked great! The snaps didn’t seem super secure at first and a few of them pulled out. I used the “install tool” and a hammer, and the snaps felt very secure after that.

It should be noted that this riveter doesn't click in place when you clamp down. Some of you may be familiar with hand riveters where you clamp it down and at the end of the squeeze it seems to apply a little extra force. Well, this one doesn't do that. The force comes entirely from you. That's ok when it works the first time, but the strength required to ensure that is maybe a little too much for me. It's not bad; I was able to get the job done with it, but I wouldn't want to have to use this every day.

This is a nice assortment of metal snaps and the tool for installation is easy to use. The female snap parts were tricky for me to figure out which way to put them in the tool. I tried both ways a few times and it just didn't work. Then I finally figured it out and it has worked every time since then. You just have to remember to put plenty of pressure when applying the snaps, especially on the female side so that you don't have them bill out when you unsnap them. It just takes a little practice and pressure! Great set, plenty of each color!!

Better snaps for baby clothes than the Dritz ones (those are too strong and hard to open but are good for more intense projects). These are easier to open and close. I haven’t washed yet so I’m not sure how that’ll hold up but I’m assuming fine.I did use the Dritz snap tool with my hammer so I can’t testify to the included tools.

So I have had to prowl all over the internet to try to figure out how to use the tool. The printed “instructions” are USELESS! The word for the “claw” part is translated to “paw” which may be similar if you don’t speak English but is laughable if you do. The provided video is sometimes out of focus and is equally useless. Also they provide a small metal shank in the kit but don’t tell you what it is used for!!!I managed to make a sample but man, IF YOUR ARE GOING TO SELL SOMETHING IN AMERICA TRANSLATE INSTRUCTIONS SO IT MAKES SENSE TO ENGLISH SPEAKERS AND I BEG YOU TO PROVIDE SIMPLE, CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE INCLUDED PARTS LABELED AND THE USE DEFINED.After using this thing THREE TIMES on a small cross body bag because the snap kept coming loose I have given up. Another piece of junk needing to be returned. It’s really useless and a waste of time and money.

Woth the money and useful! Couple of suggestions: user instructions could be made simpler and easy to understand. The claw and plier length could have been larger as putting snap button on larder garment could be tricky or not possible due to smaller size of claw.

Very good and extremely useful

No instructions, so I messed up initially. The button pieces "pop" into the rubber holder, once you do this it works great. Super strong connection to the fabric, don't use weak fabric or it might tear.
