This is a great size for my two outdoor fountains (think birdbath size/bubbler).The small pumps sit in small wells at the base of the fountains which contain a relatively small volume of water. Because of this, filters are absolutely necessary to keep the pump flowing and clear of debris.But - the filters must allow for access to power cords and water discharge tubes AND be compact enough to fit into the well with all the above.These filters installed easily and the closure mechanism was a cinch (pardon the pun). They have performed flawlessly throughout the season. I will order these again should the need arise.

I added this to my electric utility pump to drain the winter water out of our small pound.Leaves and debris clog up the pump intake and we have to stop and clean the pump several times before all the water has been removed.This netting has small openings and keeps the large debris from clogging the intake. Taking less time to get the job done.

Easy to apply, I have small fountain, was having to clean pump every week Haven't had to change/ clean pump since I installed the bag.

the weight of the netting makes it very durable and it's tight knit fabric will do a great job keeping the impellers on the pump clean. Great purchase !!! recommend it highly
