We bought some LED string lights from Costco and the dimmer paired seamlessly with it. I love turning on my patio lights from inside the house with the remote. The preset dimmer level buttons make easy work of finding the best light level.The preset timer buttons mean you won't forget to turn them off.

I used this to replace the light on our deck. You need an app to control it, and I believe you can only have one person that can control it with the app. However, it was very easy to integrate with Alexa. I would recommend that so it can be controlled by everyone.

I attached this to my outdoor string lights, but it’s very finicky and loses connection easily. Of course, when it loses connection, it doesn’t work. Best to buy a string that has a built in dimmer-I have one by the same company and it’s been working 100% of the time over the past two years.

This dimmer actually works. I tried another one and it was useless, died immediately. The only reason I didn't give five stars (would give it a 4.95 if I could) is the batteries that came with it were dead, so when I first tried it, the fact that it didn't work left an "oh no, not again" feeling in me... but when I put new batteries in, it worked great! May be better not to include batteries in the first place to avoid the scare? That would not be a big deal at all.

So good; like the timer feature, the toggling of 25% up or down of brightness and that it turns back on to the last brightness level. Remote fits well in hand. Only improvement would be to have an app option if remote is misplaced

Unfortunately I didn’t need them, I have since returned both timers.

The device works very good but the prior one only lasted for two years and it was used indoors? I’m trying again and will see if it lasts longer…

Bought this to use with my Edison style porch lights. Although they were dimmable, they couldn't connect with Alexa and this did the trick.
