Easy Install...Even for Laypeople
One of five met the end of the road, so to speak. Replacement took me about five minutes (even remembered to turn the boiler power off first). Just pay attention to rotating it slightly when installing it over the shaft sticking up from the inline portion. Google, and a son being a technician in the field allowed me to be prepared. This unit has performed flawlessly.

Direct Replacement for Erie AG13A02A - Easy Swap
This zone valve head directly replaced a defective one of the same model number on my hydronic boiler heating system. The swap took about a minute. No need to worry about which wires go where, because it's pretty much a "switch" on the black wires and red ones. One thing in the manual that I did not see anywhere else was that you need to lock the unit into the "Open" slot before installing it. I think that just lines up the flat part of the actual brass valve part behind the motor head. When you restore power to the system and this thing sees the call for heat, it will automatically move the lever into the regular position. All in all, great value for a critical component of my system.

Easy replacement and a good fit
I always keep some of these around for replacing failed 20-year-old units. I have 2 boilers and 4 zone valves to deal with. Simple lever attachment to the existing zone valve, and 4 wires to connect. The hardest part is diagnosing the problem to begin with. In this case the old actuator worked, but the limit switch to start the boiler was very intermittent, so the boiler would fail to start after a few times. On my boiler it gets about 3 tries, and then the boiler controls lock-out.

Zone valve hell..
These work fine, controlling the heat to various zones in a hydronic floor heated house but, they don't last. Every few years, it seems, I replace one of several. Should this be so? Don't know. But they're not cheap, and along with the bill from the plumber to replace them, it's more than an annoyance. Is there an alternative. Not that I know of, and the plumber (who I trust) tells me the competition isn't any better.

Just what I needed
I am not a plumber, or an electrician, just a DIY home owner. This was easy to replace and it saved me $250 from the oil company doing it for me.

Works like a charm
Works like a charm! Plumbing company wanted to charge me $1000.00 to install this part. After telling them where to go I ordered this part and watched a YouTube video. Installed it in less than 15 minutes and had my heat warming the house in 30 minutes. Really a great buy and company ships immediately👍👍👍👍
