The group Change from 79/80- 85 really was a great ensemble of vocalists and musicians who I definitely enjoyed, had all the albums on vinyl and cassette and grooved to on seductive and dance sides. I loved that I was getting to hear/see some of the artists who were rising stars get to strut their stuff and yet have a platform by which they could collaborate. This collection was long overdue and I love the fact that the people who put this collective together got to give their narrative on what the group meant to them. Definitely there needs to be a return to this kind of artistry and I really love this collection. It arrived way before the expected date and in perfect condition so I am one very satisfied customer as has almost always been the when ordering through Amazon's vendors. If you want to get your dance, fast or slow on, this is a great collection!

Great compilation with excellent sound quality

I listen to Change back in the 80's so when I saw this CD I had to have it. I loved every song on there. This was great music back then. Wish these groups was like todays groups.

have been a change fan since 1980 and have all the cds theys been many bests of cds all a bit naff now its here a full history from the start to the end one word stunning the remastered sound is so clean and fresh sounding heaven to the ears anybody new to them please enjoy.

There are four stand out tracks otherwise this album is a treadmillBut worth it for the really good tunesCould have cut it down to one cd

If you are a fan of Change this is one album you need for your collection and you won’t be disappointed. The sleeve notes are a very interesting read too.

This is a great anthology, all of the hits are here. The remastered sound is phenomenal !!! Very happy I purchased this collection!!!

As an avid fan of Change I would say that this is the ultimate collection of their output. The past 20 years we've seen compilations that have omitted certain tracks. This one however does the job brilliantly. I really find the liner notes very interesting and the quality of the sound is top notch!

Vintage Change tracks, some I'd not heard of before, but all the classics are on here. Takes me back to my DJ days when "Searching" & "Lovers Holiday" were quite often requested.

Grateful compilation. The only Change CD you'll need and you do need it.

"Reach for the Sky" - dieses ambitionierte Ziel haben die Namensgeber der Change-Anthology erreicht. Himmlich gute Musik in der bis dato besten Compilation zahlloser Change-Klassiker. Auch wenn alle 6 Alben der US-italienischen Band mittlerweile als CD vorliegen (das 2010er-Werk lasse ich einmal außen vor, da es für mich kein "echtes" Change-Album ist), aber trotzdem ist es gelegentlich ja ganz schön, wenn man die Lieblingstitel in Form einer Compilation vorliegen hat.Auf die vielen tollen Künstler, die bei Change mitwirkten - von Luther Vandross bis Jocelyn Brown (für die ich mich persönlich nie - weder bei Change noch sonstwie - erwärmen konnte) - muß man an dieser Stelle keine großen Worte verlieren, da darüber ebenso wie über die vielen Hits aus der Feder von Davide Romani und Mario Malawasi verlieren.Die Titelwahl weicht nur minimal von der Compilation "The Final Collection" aus dem Jahr 2007 ab, aber trotzdem ist "Reach For The Sky" die deutlich bessere Wahl, denn das 24-seitige Booklet mit schönen Farbbildern und informativen Texten vieler (der noch lebenden) Change-Protagonisten ist ein "Must Have" für jeden Fan und Sammler. Die etwas längere Version von "Hold Tight" sowie ein alternativer Mix von "Keep On It" sind bisher unveröffentlicht. Gleiches gilt für den "Mike Maurro Disco Mix" von "It's A Girl's Affair", der aber zu den eher schwächeren Titeln dieser Zusammenstellung zählt.Der Sound ist ok und wird audiophilen Gemütern jetzt keine Tränen der Freude ins Gesicht treiben. Im Vergleich zu "The Final Collection" ist der Pegel der CDs etwas niedriger, aber trotzdem gewinnt auch hier "Reach For The Sky", da das Klangbild minimal angenehmer ist.Insgesamt eine tolle CD und eine klare Kaufempfehlung!PS: Eine defekte CD aus der Erstlieferung hat Amazon wie immer unkompliziert und schnell getauscht - auch hier 5 Sterne.

Heute kam meine Bestellung an. ...Klasse ! ... Ich habe einigeTonträger von Change (Ich bin ein Kind der 80'er eben--> Imagination-Chic-Change-Luther V.-SOS Band usw. usf.). Sicher wiederholt sich vieles zu bereits erschienenen Tonträgern aber hier ist die Zusammenstellung und Auswahl sehr gut gelungen. Wie imTitel meiner Bewertung bereits vermerkt, wer bisher nicht viel von Change gehört hat kauft diesen Kracher und bekommt für sein Geld eine sehr gute Zusammenstellung der wichtigsten Songs von Change und ein paar seltene Perlen extra. Ich habe den Artikel für 13,- Einheiten (3.- Einheiten für Versand von der Insel) hier bei Amazon erstanden.Fazit : Kaufen!
