The media could not be loaded. I ordered the 9x12 cat door and I’m so glad I did. I was worried my cat would be too big but it’s perfect. I would say most cats I’ve seen would most likely fit through that size. It helps keep the litter box safe from my toddler and the cat food safe from the dogs! Installation is easy enough if you have a jig saw. I put painters tape under my cut line because I was worried it might splinter the wood. Even if it did, the frame of the cat door would cover up any imperfections.

It is perfect! Super cute and the two kittens loved it. I can close the door now where their kitty litters are and they can go in and out. We took the door off the hinges to cut it. Was straight forward. Keeps the smell contained now.

This cat door was simple to install and only took 30 minutes. We get so many compliments and laughs on the design of the cat as the back is the tail and front is the cat. Our 20lb goes through it daily with no issues, though if your cat was 5lbs larger it would be a very tight squeeze.Overall sturdy functional and has worked amazing for us and our cat everyday!

I'm reviewing this before my cat has actually used this - but so far so good! I did what others said they did and used a jabsaw and just hacked away at my door. It wasn't easy or fun, but it meant I didn't have to buy anything expensive ($11 for a decent jabsaw) and I did get this entirely installed within a half hour. It's perfect for allowing my cat but not my dogs into the basement so he can use his litter box.The quality of the piece itself is fine for its purpose. I do not recommend following the template exactly. You can tell from the photos that I really couldn't do so with the jabsaw. I outlined the template itself and just cut the hole just a smidge smaller. It would've made the most sense to just trace around the thing itself but I did not for fear of cutting it too close.It would be great if the company would update their template and print it out on something other than standard printer paper - it's basically useless trying to trace out the template with thin printer paper. I get that it cuts margins but it's kind of an expensive product for what it is so I think that's really the least they could do.But ultimately the product was super easy to install otherwise. I'll update after it gets some use but for now the adhesive strips are holding great and the do seem adequate.UPDATE: We've been using this for a month or so now and honestly its great! I love the look of it and our cat uses it just fine. The smaller pup we have doesn't squeeze through either thank goodness so no issues at all! Recommend this product for cat owners!UPDATE 2: Yeah so the other reviews are 100% right - the adhesive strips do not and will not hold up over time. Do not recommend relying on them to last which is disappointing since this item is a bit pricey for what it is. I'm now using command strips to hold this in place. It's not an unsolvable problem but once again, it is annoying considering the price of this item.

Since my dog enjoys getting into the cat feeder and litter box a lot, I figured I would try getting a cat door. I used a jigsaw to cut out the outlines used from the provided template, and everything came together quite smoothly! Now my cat gets plenty of private space. The design is sleek and unobtrusive, allowing it to blend in well with your interior. The opening is large enough for most cats (my cat is 11lbs, so he is considered a bigger cat to my vets) and the smooth, rounded edges ensure that your pet can pass through comfortably without any risk of injury. Another plus to this is that there is no need for swinging doors. My girlfriend and I grew up with doggy doors that swung back and forth when used, and was quite obnoxious and repetitive, but with this product, there's no noise! Overall, I think that this product is a good option for those looking to discreetly manage their cat’s essentials!

I love this item. We didn't want a traditional flap. We just needed access for our cats to reach their litter box and food and keep it out of the reach of our dog. Now our cats may come and go as they please. You need to cut a hole in the door, but even on hollow doors, the two-sided "cat-hole" snaps in place and creates a finished look. The ears and tail make it easy to explain why we have a hole in the bottom of our laundry room door.

This cat door is absolutely adorable and functional! I have purchased three of them and am very happy with the quality as well as the customer service. I've even had friends who have visited purchase some after seeing them installed in my home and they love them just as much as I do. The third one I bought recently and it is an updated version from the previous two. I contacted the company to see about getting the older style solely for the purpose that it match the other two I have perfectly and they were able find some in their warehouse to send to me. It's nice to see a company go out of their way to make a customer happy. I am totally on board with supporting small businesses and this one did not disappoint!
