What a great aroma ~ layered, complex, very slightly spicy, yet subtle. Just what we’ve come to expect from L’Occitane.This Amazon account is shared by a couple, and both of us, male and female, love it.Over the years, we’ve both tried countless non-aluminum based antiperspirants/ deodorants.Finally, an exceptionally pleasant deodorant that works. One of us, who shall remain nameless ;-)sweats profusely. Still can’t believe how well this aluminum-free deodorant works so far. All day long and such a great scent.We will update again if needed, but so far, a huge thumbs up from both of us!

stuff smells good, stays on a few hours. Ladies love it.

The deodorant goes on easily and is very light. Doesn’t discolor the inside of t-shirts. Washes off cleanly unlike some other deodorant sticks I’ve used before. Great scent that’s not too “perfumey”. Highly recommend!!!

My husband has been using this for the last 5 years. He loves it.

Although this is nice deodrant smell wise, and is alcohol free and good for the skin all that, I find in the summer, by the end of day, my pits smell a bit. I'm really not a big sweater so if you're looking for something to hide the smell of sweat this isn't it. I change out of my work clothes when I get home and reapply and all is good till bedtime, so it's something to look out for. If you have a heavy pit stink this isn't for you.

I used Aubrey "E Over high C" roll-on for many years after becoming allergic to aluminum. From time to ttime, I'd try other "good ingredient" deodorants, but I always went back to Aubrey because it worked. Now the product has been discontinued, and I went back on the hunt. I've tried half a dozen currently available products. They just don't work. At all. I don't expect to be dry, just to be fresh-smelling. L'Occitane is expensive, but worth it. Because it works. And bonus: lovely to use like everything from this manufacturer. I'll cut back on something else!

Okay. So, I was actually going to wait to write this review for when the heat picks up. I have been using this deodorant for 4 days as of yesterday with no problems except for when I got home from work yesterday I noticed a pain in my right arm pit. Then I smelled something and I don't even remember breaking a sweat yesterday. Not only did I smell like bo I also have an ingrown hair or infected hair follicle in said right armpit. I don't know what's in this deodorant but it's not for me. Wayyyy too expensive to not at least cover up/prevent odor. Nope.
