At first this book looks daunting, but it is easy to follow. Very well layed out, alot of thought was put into this book. Tons of information threw out whether you wanna nerd out or you are a student. Herd about this book on Livefree podcast had to pick it up.

This is very readable for laymen . I even learn from the footnotes. My friend and I are taking a chapter or two at a time. There are good resources at the end of each chapter, including discussion questions and related song texts of a traditional and a contemporary song. I’m really glad I happened to see this book laying on a desk at the church and then found it for sale at a good price.
