As someone who is petrified of spiders, these do a good job of keeping them and flies out. I wish they burned of longer, i get around 20-30mins out of 1

Love these smells gorgeous

I bought these for use over summer and into autumn. Benefit of the doubt, I thought I wouldn't review until they were all gone. Useless from start to finish. Difficult to light. They don't stay lit. They certainly don't deter flies & midges. And they don't smell good either. Sorry.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I used to buy these years ago to travel to Greece. They were twice the diameter and thickness back then. There’s loads in the box so they’ll last a while, smell isn't unpleasant and they definitely keep midges, flies and mosquitoes away. In order to keep these lit you have to lite the end and get a flame for around 3 seconds before blowing it out to allow the smouldering, doing this will insure they stay lit until the end. Be gentle separating them or just use two at a time on the coil holders which two are provided. Value for money: Yes there’s lots in the box, a few could per bag.

Great for holidays to keep bugs at bay.

Better value than sticks, although I found separating the pairs of coils fiddly and often broke off pieces in the process.

Effective

You would have to burn every single one at the same time. Burn is too short. We actually got bitten more.

These burn clean and don't leave your home overpowered or smelling like an old hippie. We live in a 4 unit condo building. For some weird reason, sound doesn't travel, but smells do. there people's cooking, other people's trash - it's not all the time, but occasionally, there's a fragrance that definitely does not belong. These sticks don't cause headaches or linger, but they do seem to clear out the foul. Recommend.

Hard to get these to stay lit. Constantly having to light them. The smell is pleasant but not strong. Wouldn’t buy again.

Long lasting easily lighting.

I like the product but the stands don’t last long enough to use all of the coils.
