This product could get five stars if they took away the awful bright light that shines from the entire top of miso. Its so bright thAt you may think you forgot to turn off a light before going to sleep. I don't know why humidifier companies do this. Sleeping in the dark is the best possible thing that you can do for yourself. Adding extra light is no bueno. There isnt been an option to turn off the light. Which is the worst part. The reason it does get three stars however, is that the design is ingenious. It works, and it's easy to use. I think we are going to spray paint the blue part black so that no lighy comes through, and hope that works. If bright lights don't bother you while you're sleeping, this product will be great for you.

I received this product yesterday and thus have only used it one night. It did seem to humidify my dry nasal passages which in turn can help me sleep better. However, the light in this thing lights up the entire bedroom! I wish the light could be turned off. I can wear an eye sleep mask, but would prefer not to have to do that. I have obstructive sleep apnea, and therefore I need to minimize distractions while trying to sleep through the apneas. To hopefully cut down on the light, I'm going to place opaque tape over the blue plastic top, while of course not blocking the bottle and mister areas.Regarding the noise level: it's not too bad but of course I wish it was totally silent. If the moisture can keep helping me get more sleep, then I won't mind the low humming noise of the machine. Another thing I like about this machine is that it didn't make the surrounding area wet, though I do lay down a large towel as a preventive measure. I look forward to continued help from this device.

As other reviews state this works great, however I am not sure the little mist stream it pumps out is enough to humidify even a small room, the mist seems to "fall down" immediately rather than vaporize upwards into the air. The humidifier is quiet and easy to move it around. However, I found it impossible to leave it on during the night as I had intended, as I found its light to be too strong. If you are used to sleeping in a dark room with no night lights on (which is the healthiest sleeping environment light-wise), the humidifier's light will probably bother you. My solution is to turn it on an hour or so before I go to sleep, then turn it off at bedtime, but I am disappointed that the light cannot be turned off.

Machine is working great but Water adopter plastic is so weak, I had two broken and received new one from seller but one is broken again, I did not drop, I found they were broken inside the water , still did not know the reason. New adopter replacement cost $7.00 per piece on their website. I was going to use this humidifier all year round, but worry about adopter replacement cost. Should be more flexible durable material for the water bottle adopter. Three of pieces broken is not a coincidence.

I like that it's small, compact and works well for what I need it to do. It really helps with my allergies and dry throat. My nasal passages don't hurt as much any more. Don't let it sit to close to your bed because my pillow ended up getting soaked one night on accident. I put it about a foot away from my bed and it works just fine. It fits pretty much any plastic drinking bottle. I tried Ozarka and Fiji and they work great. I like using the 1 liter bottles because they last about 8-9 hours on the max setting. The regular 16 oz. bottle lasts about 4-5 hours on max setting. Cleaning the humidifier with a tiny brush and wet cloth 2-3 times a week can get annoying but it's a tiny little box so not much maintenance compared to a giant humidifier. I haven't run into any problems like others have but I have only had my humidifier for about 3 weeks now. So far so good.

I like the fact this is small, doesn't require much maintenance. So why the 2 stars? This damn thing no matter how clean and dry I keep it the green lights comes on , then it goes back to red. I empty the water in it dry it out use the brush where instructed and still same thing. I have had this product for a maybe a month now, and I can count on 1-2 hands how many times I've enjoyed it. I use room temperature distilled water. I'm frustrated because my room is dry and I need this to work.

I did a ton of research before ordering this personal humidifier and I read all the reviews. This one is just the right size for your bedside table or work table, and it really produces! The first night though, I noticed what a lot of other reviewers have said: the light in this thing is bright. At least it was bright to me, and I love a dark room for sleeping. So the next morning I took this unit apart to see if I could disable the light. Not possible! But, here's the good news: I simply took the colored cap off the top, went to the garage and retrieved a can of black spray enamel, placed a few newspapers under the cap, and sprayed a couple of coats of enamel on the cap. Two hours later, back on the unit. The next night was perfect! A very low and unobtrusive glow from the bottle only. If this glow bothers you, you can simply put a sock over the bottle. This unit is quiet and efficient. I finally found the perfect personal humidifier. By the way, I also have the tiny Amazing Humidifier that works off a USB port. The Amazing Humidifier does work, but the output is lower than I like. This Smile Rabbit fits the bill.
