Best purchase this year
I have always used large commercial gas units and still do often. I started with a summer campsite and found the noise was too much for the campground. These 20volt dewalt trimmer and blower are awesome. Trimmer cuts very well with a long battery life. The blower does a nice job for being electric but will drain battery quickly. It's not a problem since I have many large batteries from my other tools. Just change out and keep it clean. 💯 satisfied with this purchase. Thank you

Perfect for small jobs
The trimmer is effective and easy to use. The blower is perfect as long as you are using it for tasks it’s meant for. It will never be as good as my gas powered backpack blower but is great for clearing the deck quick or the garage. Or cleaning off the driveway and sidewalks after cutting the grass

A Worthwhile Investment
This trimmer and blower are a bunch better than the motorized counterparts. Their lightweight and no messing with fuel and oil mixture. The battery lasts for just what I need, I purchased backups just in case. The blower really blows some concentrated air, I was impressed. The trimmer, all I have to do is keep it on low and it whips right thru the trimmings. I would purchase again.

6 stars for the blower....trimmer is just ok
This trimmer has a LOT of plastic parts on it that make it feel very fragile. And it's that hard brittle kind of plastic too so I'm gonna be very careful with it. My lawn is about 2 acres with lots of trimming and I was able to get most of it done on a single battery so that was great. I have a bunch of dewalt batteries so it's no biggie to swap out for a fresh one. That blower though!!! Love it. Lightweight and powerful. About as loud as a shop vac. Overall l, I'm cautiously optimistic about my purchase. Time will tell. I'll update this review if anything breaks or fails.

Beyond Unsatisfied
Beyond unsatisfied. I just purchased all Dewalt products for my lawn and home. The weed wacker didn’t survive 1/2 a season of use before malfunctioning. I didn’t purchase from Dewalt. I purchased from you. Your product is malfunctioning. As a customer, I hoped for better service. I also purchased, drills, bits, skill saw, hedge trimmers, batteries and chargers. Your decision does not encourage Me to buy your or dewalts products ever again. To say I’m disappointed, would be an understatement.

BAD DESIGN trimmer burns up
I just had this weed eater, which I've been a fan of for a year and 2 weeks, burn up TWO WEEKS after the warranty expired. Turns out there are small, TOO small vents on the motor head that are designed too little to properly vent the motor. Apparently we'd need to take an air compressor and blow out these holes after every single use if we don't want our weed eaters to burn up. Seriously? After having had it happen and looking into it turns out this is a very common problem. Dewalt should recall these or at least give us credit to replace them. This has only seen light use around my house, I don't even use it on high mode. I have an edger so I don't edge with it. I shouldn't jinx it but the blower has been great. Burns through a 6ah battery pretty fast but it has a motor that's going all out, that's to be expected. Between the trimmer and now owning a sloppy geared impact (after one fence project), when it comes time to replace my hand tools I'm off team Dewalt. I'm waiting on a Toro 60V weed eater to be delivered today 😁

Worked as expected
As in others previous reviews these are not as powerful as gas blowers, but for clearing garage, small driveways, and decks it works perfect. It’ll let the cord on the gas blower live to see another day! Trimmer works great…good for the wife and kids to help around the property. Invest in large AmpHour batteries and you’ll be fine.

String trimmer Great, Leaf blower sucks
The string trimmer works well and doesn’t eat up batteries, the string it came with also lasted all summer (with soaking it), leaf blower is nice if you only have a 4’ half dead tree just eats up batteries even my 8amp,
