ULTRAFIRE UV Flashlight 395-405 nm Led Blacklight for Curing UV Glue, Leak Detector, Pet Urine Stain

I use this for uv resin and gel nail polish. Wow is this flashlight bright and power efficient. You can focus it down to a spot the size of a quarter and it will cure uv resin in seconds. Great for molds and other projects. I have used it to spot weld plastics with uv resin/glue. Cure 3d prints when i dont want to use the giant light. Doing nails it drys the polish near instantly. Also as a flash light at night, when set to the widest you get some cool black light effects and you can see things you would miss with a normal light. And the last thing i have used it for is cleaning. Dust jumps out at you. I do watch repair and electronics repair and being able to get every last speck of dust off is a challange. Now they are light fluorescent beacons showing me where the dust is. So convenient. The battery is an 18650 and comes with the battery and charger, the battery i got with mine is a freak, it never dies, i have used it in other flashlights and it lasts way longer than the junk cells you normally get. I get hours and hours of use on one charge and will not die when not used for a while. Love this light

I got it this morning and was not impressed. Then I tested the battery and realized that it was super low. So, I put it on charge for a few hours and tried again. WOW! This thing lights up all the crap in a room. Even in rooms, I THOUGHT were clean. It even works in broad daylight which was surprising. Unfortunately, there's a mirror in my bathroom and I decided to inspect the mirror with it. DO NOT do that. After a few seconds of holding, it close to the to the mirror I realized it was illuminating my chest which was quickly heating up. Yep! I got a sunburn from being an idiot and boy does it hurt. I don't recommend this thing around children, pets, or people who do a lot of dumb stuff like yours truly. However, it does a great job doing the jobs I got it for, curing resins and inspecting my house for previously unseen "incidents". I have a feeling it could burn about anything if held in place too long. I'm going to try starting my fireplace this evening with it to test that theory. My only real complaint is that the charger it comes with is crappy. I think there might be a broken latch or something in there. I'll inspect it once I get my vision back! That's probably a one off problem and no bother because the 18650 is a common enough size I have a few chargers laying about.

Bought this to look for Yooperlites in Michigan, I also bought a couple of others as well. This one did not work for the Yooperlites, but it works great for curing uv resin for fly tying! I like that it's small and compact!

I got this to use for gluing my 3d prints together using UV resin. It works great. I really like how you can adjust the beam size, fast and easy slide works great. With the beam narrowed, it really cures the resin pretty much instantly. The flashlight feels nice, sturdy, and solid. I like that I can recharge the battery. I have used it for a little while now (light welding). Maybe have had it on for an hour when all the time is added up (was also using it to charge some glow in the dark toys which it also worked great for) and it is still going strong. The light is very powerful, so I recommend also getting some UV glasses for using it. I have used it a couple of times without and I can feel the eye strain from just the reflected light. Decided to get the glasses after the first use it was so strong. Just got my glasses and am so happy. I was closing my eyes when the light was on the last couple of days.
