Adorable Sleep Training Clock
I purchased this product to help my 3 year old daughter learn a bedtime routine. She isn't able to tell time, so the clock face and changing color ring help her understand when it is bedtime or morning. There is also an option for nap time which would be wonderful if she would nap. The clock is well made, easy to use, and adorable. I like that the brightness is adjustable and that the system can be locked so that the clock cannot accidently be changed by the child. A great purchase!

Best Light Signal Clock
I love this product. I got this product for my 6 year old son, who was used to wake up in middle of the night almost every day and some times he would wake up twice. My friend shared with me that they use with their son a clock with light signal. I did my research and found this product on amazon. My son sleeps now through the night and wakes up only on occasion. It helps young children understand when to stay in bed and when it's time to get up. I think it's a great product. It needs to be plugged-in. And for that reason, I’d love to see a wireless version in the future. I highly recommend this product.

Does the job!
This clock hasn't been totally life-changing for us, but it does have all of the features I was looking for and functions as expected! Our 3 year old son was getting up and coming into our room at 5:30 most mornings, and while he still whines and cries sometimes when we tell him he has to get back in bed until his clock turns green, he does seem to get it and we fight less about when it's ok for him to get up. He is also proud to tell people that "red means sleep, green means wake up!"The things I really like about his clock are: 1. Multiple colors and brightness options. Even on the brighter settings, the light is soft and doesn't wake our kid up when it changes to green. It's a nice nightlight brightness. 2. I like that there are so many programmable options. Sleep and wake times are up to you, you can turn the "play" setting on or off and adjust the duration on it (the first night we used this it defaulted on, and the "pale green" light looks pretty green if you didn't know the difference, so we didn't argue when our son was up 10 minutes before the time it was set to turn green but we turned this feature off after that). I like that you can turn on lights and sound or lights only. Also it's nice that the clock saves settings even when it is unplugged, relocated, and plugged back in. 3. The clock is a nice size and pretty sleek looking - not overly childish and goofy looking. I do like the face that changes from sleeping to winking during play mode, and smiling for wake up time. 4. I like that the buttons are on the bottom so it's not super tempting for kids to mess with, and the lock feature is great to further prevent tampering. 5. With all of the features and options (like an alarm setting), I can see this being useful long-term!Things that are just ok about this clock: 1. It has to be plugged in. Not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice if it functioned on a charge, especially for travel. 2. It's a little tedious to figure out the settings. I was confused the first night I set it up, I modified something after it was "sleep time", and the red light turned off. I had to re-set the sleep time to a few minutes in the future to get it to turn back on. I think it was just because if you "interrupt" the sleep feature, it will turn off until the next night. However, once we got it set to what we wanted, we haven't had to mess with it since and it has functioned perfectly.Overall, many more pros than cons, and I'm super happy that I chose this ok to wake clock!

Works well, with a few quirks
This is the first and only okay-to-wake clock that we have tried. It works well, and my toddler loves it! It is fairly easy to program, and you can find videos on YouTube if you need help beyond the instruction manual. It features sleep mode, nap mode, and play mode, along with optional light and sound settings. I like that you can lock the display to prevent curious little ones from reprogramming things. The facial expression display is very cute, and my child likes that you can change the color of the display from the traditional red and green rings. Additionally, the clock is quite sturdy, which is great when your child occasionally succeeds in unplugging the clock and taking it for adventures.I have noticed several quirks (very specific, nit-picky details), which prevent me from giving this product a full five stars:- The nap mode offers times of 15, 30, 60, 90, and 180 minutes. I frequently find myself wishing for a 120 minute option, which would better align with my toddler's nap habits. This seems like a large oversight in the programming, especially since a 15 minute timer is too short to constitute a nap. This is my biggest criticism.- The nap mode does not automatically activate the lighted ring on the display, so every time you activate nap mode, you have to manually turn on the light.- Also in nap mode, if you turn on the light mode, the light only turns to "wake" mode (green ring) for 10 minutes after the timer has ended. This would be nice to have on a little bit longer (30 minutes), so if your child sleeps a little longer than expected they aren't upset that the clock didn't turn green.- In sleep mode (or wake mode), the lighted ring stays green for 2 hours, which is excessive. A shorter time (30-60 minutes) seems more appropriate.

Perfect for littles.
We love this clock. We actually have 3 of them - one for each kid and one for the playroom that tells the kids when it's time to get dressed (green) and when it's bedtime (red). It's simple, easy to use, and easy to lock the settings, so the kids can't change things around accidentally, which they were able to do with other clocks. The only thing I wish it had was more than just 3 color settings, but that might have made it more complicated to use, so i guess it's better that it doesn't.
