Calibrate often
Be careful when turning the face. Works ok but it's easy to get it off temp. Make sure you calibrate it before every use

Pretty accurate
Works good for frying a turkey or fish. It is accurate enough to cook with. It really helps to have the long stem to get an, accurate temperature reading.

Had to adjust the stem to get correct dial reading using boiling water as a media

Very happy with it
Use it on my wood stove to check air temperature. Large dial and will read up to 600 degrees. Very happy with it.
