Has made my using a metal hand strainer obsolete so I can focus on just holding the pot.Made of a durable, thicker, flexible silicone so it adjusts to any size pot. Just be sure all parts of the gizmo are inside the pot with the solid part against the pot, clip on, then just lightly flip up the straining part.

I’ve been using this strainer for a couple of years. Its design works well for different size pots. The grip of the clips is very secure. I’ve never had it slip off while straining. I’m not a huge fan of that color, BUT I always find the strainer easily in bright green ;)

I don't like to dirty a lid or a large strainer just to drain water from the pot. Not all my pots have lids.

Drainability:Easy hook up to a medium sized pot. Drains wells with no spillage of the food.Capacity:I'm using it for single box of mac and cheese or serving size for 2 of different types of noodles. Very excited to use. So much easier than a separate strainer. I have tremors so draining pasta etc is something I have to request help with so I don’t loose all the food in the sink. This product will allow me some more independence when I cook.

While the product is of good quality, I find that it just doesn't fit too many of the pans my family uses. I tend to "Make" it work in most cases, instead of, "It just fits." The clips need to open wider if you have a good lip edge on your pots.

I hate making food that requires a strainer. I have the stainless variety with holes in different sizes. I have screen mesh bowls in different sizes. I have the totally old-school variety that resembles a Cresent moon with holes in it and a handle to hold while one juggles the container being strained! OMGosh! My wrists aren't made for that!!! It doesn't get better with age or arthritis.This "Silicone Dream"??? ALL the others can go in the garbage & save my cabinet space!!! It's easy to clean & store it away! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I even love orange! It makes it easy to see if something tries to slip out - NOPE! Easy to clamp onto smaller and bigger sized pots. I don't worry anymore about dropping dinner into the sink! Best purchase in a long time!!!! Very pleased. Super value & nice thickness for durability.
