CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete Series

This has brought back so many memories and I can't believe I can even remember some of the cases! This does include the entire series. You'll likely have to adjust your TV settings to accommodate the square-ish shape of the show since it was made a while ago. I didn't have any issues doing that. The box itself is nice quality and will last forever!

I have watched every episode of CSI, most of them when they originally aired. I decided that I would get this set of CSI The Complete Series. I am amazed at this set. There are over 90 discs to the set and it does include the finale. When the set first arrived I was a little disappointed at the setup of the discs. The seasons are broken into 3 large packages. Season 1-5, 6-10, and 11-16. The discs are stacked in the cases and that bugged me at first but then I saw that they are only stacked 2 to 3 per stack. That's it. If they set each disc separately then the cases would be huge. So I really don't mind the 2 to 3 stacked. One big disappointment was that CC and Subtitles don't kick in till season 11, but I can live with that. The MASSIVE BONUS of this set is the cross over episodes with other shows. CSI had cross over episodes with Without A Trace in one season and cross overs with CSI Miami and CSI New York. ALL of the cross over episodes from the different tv series are included and in the proper running order. You don't have to try and find them in a Special Feature section. They are right with the episode they are paired with. My mind was blown away at this. I have never purchased a complete or 1 season of a series that included the cross over episodes. Usually you were out of luck or had to buy the other series.Each case of the series has a listing of the discs and what is on each disc. The title of each episode is listed in order and they have included deleted/ extra scenes, commentaries, making of, behind the scenes, farewell featurettes when a favorite cast member leaves, and how they did special effects. This set is well laid out and everything is listed on the separate cases. There are a ton of extra features in this set.I am very happy that I purchased this set. It is a fantastic price for so many discs and seasons. Worth every penny.

This set has all the episodes and lots of extras, many commentaries (that can be played or not) lots of videos of the producers talking about the seasons, special episodes and visits to the sets, etc.The packaging is not the best, all the DVDs are in three large plastic cases, stacked on spindles. This takes up less space but many will feel it also allows for scratches to the discs. There is also no Booklet on the shows that many box sets include.If you are Hard of Hearing or for any reason need captioning take note that seasons 1 to 10 are Close Caption (CC) only. The five later seasons have SDH. For those that don't know, if you have your player and/or receiver connected using HDMI cables, HDMI is not compatible with CC so you cannot use the captioning. This can be overcome using an Analog connection, the old three wire connection of Video, Left and Right. You need to ensure that your TV has an Analog input and that your player has an Analog output (receives need both for this to work). Blu-Ray players do NOT seem to have Analog outputs as it defeats the purpose of Blu-ray. If your player does not have the Analog output the best bet is to buy a cheap DVD player that has one (Amazon has several on the site). You can plug the DVD player' Analog output directly into your TV's Analog input and watch the First 10 seasons, with captioning, that way. You can also connect through your receiver using the Analog input and output.

I took one star off for not having captions on the disc, but since I have closed captions on my tv, was able to read the dialog.I LOVE this series, and so far (have watched 10 seasons so far) the discs are great without any problems.A few special features (although I enjoy watching the gag real most, this has none.) and they, also, are captioned on my tv.

had only watched it through streaming before, liked it a lot so looked and found it has had no issues just wish earlier seasons had a play all feature

Watched a few early episodes back in the day and recently started watching it again on free streaming. But they're not streaming them in episode order, so there's missing continuity. So I decided to get the whole series on DVD. Love the show with its plot twists and its character interactions & development. And you find out quite a bit about forensic science!All DVDs are SD. Season 1 is stereo sound, the rest of the seasons are Dolby 5.1 surround.

Not as good as CSI Miami or New York

El boxset llegó antes de lo esperado, muy bien empacado y en perfectas condiciones. Para quienes vivimos en latinoamérica, considerar que se requiere DVD multirregión. Viene en idioma original y audio español. No viene subtitulado en español. Exclente serie de televisión.

El pack está muy bien presentado, pero no está en Castellano (español) si no en Latino. Gran decepción.
