New Syma 3 Channel S107 Mini Indoor Co-Axial Metal Body Frame & Built-in Gyroscope RC Remote Controlled Helicopter Replacement Main Blades Grip Set

Although these appear to be the correct item, the inside diameter of the top rotor head is a bit small to accept the outer housing that must slip over the top shaft of the lower blade grip assembly. I tried to use it but created too much drag and had to discard it for one ordered from RC-Fever in Hong Cong - just took a while to get here from half way around the world shipped by post! The wait was worth it because I got the EXACT replacement item. It appears the front motor is dragging and has been right out of the box. I have a motor coming - from Hong Kong :) BTW the S107G in my opinion is the absolute best starter helicopter no matter where you get one. I have four and sent two as preasants which are a big hit! Next up is Blade mCX2 - best FOUR CHANNEL starter I've found!

Bought this set to replace the top blade grip on my Syma S107G due to the flybar mount breaking(the top part of the piece on the left). The original flybar fit right in, HOWEVER, I had to remove the metal sleeve between the upper and lower blade grips because the opening of the new upper blade grip/flybar mount is smaller than the original. It did fit once I removed the sleeve (it just slid off). The helicopter works fine. Thanks to E-Toys World for quick shipping to get me back in the air.

After a few crashes and broken parts I debated whether it was even worth replacing these parts since a new one is currently under 17$... However since the world is filling with garbage quick enough, I decided to order the parts and when I saw the image of this replacement grip set I noticed it had the piece I needed; the top black attachment which the gyro attaches to. Mine was bent causing the common "toilet bowl" effect and I needed it replaced.I ordered this part because that piece I need is pictured although the description says "main blade grip" it actually does include the lower shaft which is also pictured. Well needless to say that top piece is NOT included. You have to order the "main shaft" and according to other reviews it has this top piece. Now that I've mistakenly ordered this part I've spent more on parts (it needed a new battery after week) than a new one would have cost.. Doh.

This part for my husband's helicopter works great. I installed it myself, very easy, Helicopter has been flying fine ever since !

Everything about the order went very well, except that the one part I needed wasn't included. I ordered this item based on the photo, which shows the black main shaft top installed in the grip set (the black vertically-oriented object in the left assembly of the photo). I need this part to correct the "toilet bowl effect" that developed after the tiny nubs broke off of that piece. I wish I had read chiflatin's review before buying, which confirms that the main shaft top is included when you purchase the "main shaft", and not this product.I decided to keep this product since return postage is likely to be almost as much as the part's cost (and I'll probably need them eventually), but I'll give this product the lowest possible review score since its misleading photo caused me to purchase an item that is of no use to me. If you need any of the other parts pictured, you will receive them in good condition and in a timely manner.

ordered the S107 replacement main blades grip set; the top plastic piece that holds the balance bar is slightly to big...makes too snug of a fit with the balance bar. The hole for the hollow tube the the shaft runs through is too small, unable to use the hollow tube with this replacement piece (not sure if this affects the operation or not) the holes for the screws that grip the shaft are smaller then the screws that came out of the original piece; had to use the screws that originally held the blades because they were slightly smaller, but longer. Was able to make most everything work except haven't figured out how to trim the cross piece where the balance bar attaches so that the balance bar can move freely. currently, the helicopter tends to oscillate around it's axis, I believe because the balance bar doesn't move freely. This is not a an exact replacement for the original piece.

For young adults its great fun but like anything that moves you must be careful. They were Christmas gifts which they all loved them but my youngest broke a part and these parts were a good value and now everything is going great again.

Face it, there's not alot you can say about a replacement part. The fit and function were right on and it works great. The quality seems very good and looks just like the original part. If you need a replacement I would gladly recomend this one.
