After 4+ years of use, the pump finally died in my cat water fountain (which they love). The new pump fits perfect and works great. Good price.

Works great! Just what I needed to have a back up while I’m cleaning the other one.

They are great but I have to replace them more often than I’d like, at least twice a year. It’ll be working fine, then I unplug to clean the bowl and change the filter and when I put it back it doesn’t work anymore. I stopped taking it apart for cleaning and just rinse it thoroughly but it still happens. Last time I ordered extras so I didn’t have to wait. But when they are working, they’re great. I like the light; it helps determine the fill level.

prematurely broke and had to get another one. There's a slot where it needs to be removed and cleaned out as well. Being a cat water fountain, hair, etc can build up quickly so be diligent and clean at least 1 x a week along w/ your filters!

Easy to install

The pump that came with my fountain worked wonderfully for years, finally died. Ordered this as a replacement. Didn't work. When it was plugged it it looked and sounded like it was trying to work but would not pump. The lil magnetic wheel inside was kind of pulsing like it was trying to spin but couldn't. I could give it a push with my finger to get it going, and it would start working like normal but as soon as I put it under water it would stop and just pulse again.So I started a return for a replacement, figured it was just a bad one. Nope. Second one I received did the exact same thing and refused to work. Waste of time. Definitely not made the same as the original.Oh and the light did not fit in the spot for it in my fountain. I have the round white one with the stainless steel top. If the pump had worked the light would have just floated loosely.
