The pans instructions say i should only use it on low to medium heat, will it reach a hot enough temperature for searing steaks?

Dear Daniel, Thank you for your question. The first thing to know is that your frying pan should be pre-heated before adding anything to it. We recommend heating the frying pan on medium for two minutes before adding your meat. Thank you.

Is it pfoa and ptfe free? only steel used as a material?

The inside layer of the Grano Frying pan Stainless steel is made of 18/10 stainless steel; it has no coating, so totally free of PFOA/PTFE. The Grano Frying pan with the non-stick coating is also free of PFOA/PTFE.

Is this pan oven proof?

Dear Archie, Thank you for your message. We recommend the use of stainless steel cookware in oven only for finishing dishes like gratin or just keep food warm for a certain time.
