Good Tool
Works perfectly and is pretty universal. It can remove multi-notched lock/retainer rings.

Essential
Another solid bicycle repair and maintenance tool from Park Tool. I got this to remove the lock ring retaining the rear cog on my 6KU fixed gear bicycle. I have now used this tool multiple times to remove, re-install, and tighten the lock ring, and it has worked well in spite of the fact that neither end seems to be specifically for my particular style of lock ring. The side with the single tooth is a bit too wide to get a good grip on my lock ring, so I use the more crescent-shaped side with three teeth, which doesn't fit my lock ring exactly either, but still gets a good grip.Like a good pedal wrench, the flat profile of this tool allows it to easily slide into the tight spaces it needs to go to do its job, and the solid construction insures that it won't break or bend in use. It also takes up little space in a pack, so I usually carry it with me in case my lock ring slips. This is a simple, durable, and handy tool that every bicycle mechanic, whether professional or amateur, should have in his collection.

Works well on vintage Stronglight bottom brackets
This is yet another quality Park tool that does what it should. It even works well on vintage Stronglight bottom brackets like the one on my 1970s Peugeot.

Worked ok for my first time use
Wish it had more teeth to get better grip. Other than that, was good and long enough to turn. Working on things im use to working on. Im use to a bit more metal than a skinny ring.Taking off those rings and the bearings out, make sure to have a heat gun, Comes in very useful. Doesn't burn the paint if done right. Meaning in low heat and not for too long.

'double ended' cup and cone bottom bracket lock ring tool
This bottom bracket lock ring tool does double duty in that it has three lugs on one end and a single lug on the other. I thought it was going to be an exact fit on my damaged (by me) lock ring, based on size of tool listed online. Wrong. BUT I still barely got two of the lugs to engage my old damaged ring and successfully removed it. I then filed the lock ring notches to square that were rounded over and voila! problem solved. It fits my other bikes lock ring PERFECTLY. Solid tool well made. All park tools are expensive, though worth the cost, in my experience.

One purpose tool
This tool literally only does one thing but it does that one thing really good honestly I wish I could have just 3d printed something that can tighten the lock rings on bikes because this thing is kinda expensive for a piece of metal cut into a special shape

1937 Ford Application
The filler tube to gas tank connection is an unusual set up in the early 1937 Ford cars. It requires turning the sleeve on the filler tube which is threaded to the gas tank itself. In removing this tube to intimately remove the gas tank from car, this tool was invaluable. It hooked perfectly on the holes of the sleeve and it is reasonably compact for working in a tight area. The take-away for all of you that don't plan on removing a gas tank from an early '37 Ford is that the product is very strong and able to take the force necessary to undo a threaded connection that was made in December 1936. Highly recommended.

Can't go wrong with Park tool
Works exactly as designed, had zero issue with engagment or suitable leverage to remove the lockring on an old cup and cone caged bearing lower bottom bracket from my old bike. All three pins offered engagemnt and it spun out nice and easily. For the few extra bucks the park tool is always well worth it, it's built to last and will be in my bike tool kit for decades to come.

Essential for bike mechanics
Usual high quality from parktool. If you plan on maintaining or repairing bikes you will need this in your tool kit. They seem pricey initially but they will pay for themselves over the years. The bike industry over the years has created a number of different standards for almost every part on the bike as tech has advanced but parktool have you covered for them all. The only thing about these types of tools is they aren’t the comfiest in the hand and perhaps a little rubber or smithing the grip area to be a little more tactile.
