Great device at great price
Ordered this sensor when original was lost. The customer service at Tymate is great!! The TPMS makes me feel more comfortable when towing my trailer

Tymate replacement sensor
This is the second sensor that I have ordered that does not work. Both sensors do not meet the same specs of the sensors that come with the TMS. The original sensors when screwed onto the tire valve stem released tiny bit of air. These do not release air when screwed onto the valve stem. I think the center probe on the replacement sensor do not extend enough to make contact with the needle of the valve stem.

One sensor only and no dust boot
The original sensors had dust boots included but this did not come with the boot. Not sure how important that is but though I would mention it. Also seems kind of pricey for only one sensor.

Does it's job well
Very easy to install. the only thing was adjusting it for 3/4 ton pickup tires proved to be a slight challenge but in the end it worked well. After a right front blowout on a classic car it is well worth the peace of mind for this item.

Keeping my OEM system honest.
Working reasonably so far on my Subaru Outback. Was questioning my factory remote pressure monitor system and I didn't want to be always stopping and getting out my air pressure gage.Thing randomly sets off the audio alarm even when the pressure is OK, but you press a button and it goes off, and I really didn't need the alarm feature since I'm watching it anyway.On my wheel stems there are no room for the locknuts so I just screw them in to what I think is a reasonable torque by feel. If you try to use the locknuts you may end up with a leak and a flat tire, as I did. So far I haven't lost any sensors, but I did buy an expensive spare as a backup.

Great Product!
I put this on my spare tire that has a cover over it. Now I don't have to take the cover off to check air pressure and I also know which tire is triggering low tire warning on dash.

Difficult to install / remove
Getting at that brass jam nit on the backside of the unit is a HUGE PITA! The rubber boot fights you all the way.
