Kona Cotton Red Fabric by The Yard by Robert Kaufman

I ran out of this material( the dark red) and ordered more exact material exact seller and received the lighter color more of an orange. So make sure u order enough because even though it supposed to be the same it might not be

Purchased as quilting fabric. A bit heavier than most quilting cottons, but works just fine. This is a solid dye -- so beware of excess dye bleeding on the first wash. If left in water long enough it WILL dye lighter colors with a pink hue (Source: did it with some [scrap] white fabric when determining prewash requirements).

This is not kona cotton. Don’t be fooled. It is definitely part polyester.

Was very disappointed with the quality...felt more like thin lining material instead of the "rich quality" they advertise. Was not able to utilize it the way I planned. Too much money for such low quality!!!

I used this to sew cloth napkins and am very happy with it! The fabric does wrinkle a little after the wash, but I guess that comes with cotton, which I absolutely insist on using!

Great quality product! The difference in the thread count is obvious when compared to others I've purchased.

Beautiful true red. I was reticent buying fabrics on line, I like to feel the hand of a fabric, but I know the Kaufman brand and use a lot of Kona cottons, but was very pleased with it. Machine washed cold and dried it and it came out great. (I baste the cut ends and it keeps it from raveling in the wash.) No fading, no bleeding onto other fabrics. And it's a great price.
