Holds bits very well. I use drill driver to fasten the screws with the bits so it makes my work easy.

The 1/4" drive works fine but as for the bit holder, if the bit gets stuck in the screw, the bit will get pulled out. To me, the bit holder is the most important part, and if that does not work well then what good is it.

Pro: allows you to switch between using a driver bit and a 1/4" drive socket without having to swap to another adapter bit.Con: driver bit holder can completely separate from the entire assembly, leaving you with a magnetized driver holder and a 1/4" socket adapter.Pro: easy to re-assemble if driver bit holder and socket adapter ever separate if the indentation lock still has it's spring lock bearing in good condition.Pro: magnetized bit holder with bit inserted is Strong, need to use a decent amount of force to retrieve bit.Con: do not use stubby or low profile driver bits, you will have a hard time to retrieve them unless you pop them out by swapping to the 1/4" drive socket adapter with the bit still in the holder.
