Getting this for the office, we have one person who is 280lbs, does anyone know if the mat material is soft that the chair will leave divots/grooves?

The mat material is rigid. I use it for my home office (10-12 hours per day) and I weigh 250#. My mat is 8 months old; no divots, grooves, excessive wear. I would buy this product again.

Can I get 48x60 without lip? I ordered one 2014-05-01 but now it doesn't come up in the options.

When the 48x60 is clicked on, there are two options available in the lip category, one with and one without. In the 48x60 the ONLY option that is available is the one WITHOUT the lip, so yes, you definitely CAN get this size without the lip. The only mat available both with and without the lip is the 48x51--all other sizes come WITHOUT the lip, at least according to the options available in the ad.
