Just get it already!
Love this lil guy! Takes out pits like a champ, only missed 1 pit out of an ice cream bucket full of cherries and it took no time at all to get them all done. The price is awesome, it's set up is great and easy to use with multiple catching bowls for your cherries. I have used this with small tart cherries and it made fast work with the ability to center them and pit them faster than with the hand held lil guy I have, only missed a few but that was user malfunction LOLClean up is a breeze because it disassembles quick and easy. Great design and works perfectly.

Most pits removed
This works well but you have to feed the cherries one by one and watch that the pit drops down or squish it between your fingers, if you want to be absolutely sure. My son filled the top and had a great time punching down the cherry pits but only got about half of them that way.

Worth it!
My new Leifheit Cherry Stoner arrived today and I’ve already pitted over two quarts of sour cherries. I read reviews that pointed out my variety of smaller cherry may be a bit challenging to work with and the device might miss about a third of the pits. I decided I’d keep that in mind and carefully kept each cherry centered for the sharp pit remover. Worked great compared to the little hand held styles I’ve used in the past, and never again will I do this by hand with a paring knife- good grief! Lol!

I like it
I don't normally write reviews. Granted I've only used this for a dozen large sweet red cherries, but so far I love it in comparison to all the products I've bought to pit cherries. I've seen complaints on small cherries, but again mine are the large gorgeous red sweet cherries. Now I have to go back to the store and buy another 10# - so i can finish canning these for the season.

Not good for big jobs.
Cleaned 44 lbs of cherries over the weekend. I had to check every single one because this product missed the pit about 30% of the time. Only 2 years old and it is cracked in 2 places. Great for small jobs but not so good for big ones.
