This clever acrylic painting set includes all the supplies necessary to begin painting. The set is provided in a 14" X 10-1/2" X 3" wood box with a leather carrying handle and an easel built into the hinged top. The easel has a sliding canvas support at the top. Inside the box are the following supplies: six 22ml. tubes of bright acrylic colors, 3 brushes, and 1 each of a mixing palette, painting knife and drawing pencil. Also included in the set is a 9" X 12" wood-framed canvas. Acrylics provide a variety of technique possibilities such as simulating watercolors, airbrushing and printmaking or they can be applied thick to simulate oil paint. The colors are permanent, water-resistant and flexible when dry. Cleanup is with soap and water. This is a good looking set that is easily portable at only 3-1/2 lbs. and it makes a terrific gift for the novice painter.
