Fantastic
Great GPS golf watch. Not looking to have smartwatch features, just golf, on the wrist? Get this. pulls courses around AZ with zero issues. Big display, brightly colored and easy to use. Loaned it out and buddy was ordering the same day. Legit piece of hardware for average to more serious golfers.

Good but not great!!!!!
Very good golf gps watch, not perfect as a smartwatch. The Lx5 has a bright easy to read face and offers many great golf hole and course information. It's like owning one of skycaddie handheld golf devices but on your wrist. Easy to use and manipulate screens. It paired with the skycaddie 360 app easily. For just golf it may be the most accurate and best one on the market. It counts steps and gives you your average heart rate on a separate screen. It's at this point the Lx5 falls short of being a true smart/fitness watch. Does not offer phone notifications, predefined workouts or most other features offered by garmin or golfbuddy. If your interested in a golf watch that is accurate, easy to use and offers skycaddie accuracy and detail, this one is one you should look at seriously. If you're wanting a golf gps with true smartwatch you may want to look elsewhere. With this in mind I would definitely recommend the Lx5.At $300.00 it's a bit pricey but does come with a prepaid 3 year skycaddie membership. As for build and durability, only time will tell. The case is plastic, the crystal is plastic and the interhangeable band is silicone or rubber. As for battery usage, you can expect to get two full rounds from a full charge.

Complete Rip Off!!!
Not a great product. No instructions were included. It is NOT my first golf watch. It wasn't intuitive. I had to open it to try. I googled instructions on its workings. I decided right away it wasn't for me. I packed it right back up and returned it. The Amazon site says 30 day returns but the company kept most of the money and I received 40% of my money back.A complete rip off!!!

I returned it, too complicated and slow
The graphics are beautiful, but using the watch can be complicated and I found it to be slow. I arrived at the course parking lot and turned the power on. Paid my green fees changed my shoes and the watch was sill searching for the course.Went to the practice putting and after about 15 minutes the watch return an error that could not find course. I had to try two more time to find the course. It finally found the course and then 10 minutes late gave me an error message and I had to do the search again. It must have taken 30+ minutes to finally fire the watch up and start playing. During play it worked OK, but changing the hole (not sure how I got off the correct hole), trying to tell time, etc. was no fun. I returned it for a simpler yardage watch with no fancy graphics or other options.

Great screen
I like everything about the watch except the band and it's clasp. I'll probably get another band for next season. It's accurate, and syncs to a cloud app, and the map and hole vue feature is great.

Low battery life, clumsy response, unintuitive software
Go for Garmin, don't be fooled by the low price. Battery doesn't even last one round. Except for bright display it has nothing going for it. Very clumsy response and poor software and top it all international golf courses are not covered by the free 3 year membership, for that one needs to buy membership costing $50 a year (no upgrade option). Answer is Garmin, Garmin Garmin!
