I received this jacket today. I ordered a 2X and it fits as I hoped it would. Just roomy enough. I'm usually a 1X so I would say to order up one size. The sleeves are a little long but that's better than too short. This jacket was not too short in the body length as some people stated. I'm only 5' 4" and it's a perfect length on me. My only two complaints are the color. I ordered black. It looks very black in the photo but it's not a true black. It's more of a charcoal gray/slight navy. It doesn't bother me but if you are hoping for black, this is not. And the zipper. It's very cheap. I could not get it zipped up. I was afraid the little bottom piece would pull away from the fabric. I was very gentle with it but could not get it zipped up while I was wearing it. I had to take it off and lay it face up on my bed and work with it. I finally got it to zip and then zipped it up and down a million times to "break it in" but still could not get it re-zipped once I unzipped it again. Bad quality zipper which surprises me coming from a Columbia jacket. Other than these 3 things, it's a nice jacket. The main problem I see is the zipper.

Soft and warm

I am normally a L-XL but I ordered a 2X because I like my jackets bigger! It keeps me so warm! Too warm at times! It’s a bit loose around my chest and hips which is what I like the sleeve length is perfect and the jacket length is perfect too!

I was hoping for the fluffy fleece that my kids' Columbia jackets are made of. This looks more like a brushed blanket. It is really thin, suitable for maybe a cool Spring morning. I have a winter coat that I hardly ever wear, but need a fleecy jacket just to get me from car to building in the winter. (NC, rarely do we get long spells of cold). This won't work for that.If thin is what you're after, it seems to be well made. It fits nicely. I got a 2X. I'm 5'8/225 and it doesn't quite cover my butt. It's not binding, but not bulky either. I like the way the the cuffs come midway down my hands. I like the seams. I haven't decided if I'll keep it yet; it's not the weight I was expecting, but there's nothing "wrong" with it.
