Despite choosing the right measurements it did not fit

Posting photo on truck and how to take the one off: 2017 F150 Fx4. To get the old chrome one off, it was kind of a pain and not many video showing if there were tabs or inside clips like some cars. Basically I shot a bunch of WD40 up into the gap between old top and exhaust and twisted and it was still difficult (probably due to rust). Used and old oil filter wrench a buddy had ( ever seen this kind but think most would work): debated big channel locks but didn’t want to smash exhaust pipe. More Wd-40 and let set for 30 minutes and then worked it back and forth in a twisting motionTime will tell how good this holds up since others have had issues with the powder-coat coming off. To me it’s thinner then the OEM and Ford does have a black OEM of the same thickness for $100...so I’ll see how this works

The pipe looks great and fit good, however when the part arrived it looked like it had been previously installed by someone and they had over tightened the clamp and made it difficult to install on my pipe. But after some finagling I was able to install it and it looks great.

Actually looking at my Yukon I figured it would look good with a nice chrome tip. So I ordered this upon reading the reviews and it is really well made and heavy duty. The finish on it is really nice the clamp on it is fantastic and pretty heavy duty slid right on the tailpipe without me having to tapping on. I didn't even cut any of the tailpipe out I left enough hidden inside and it doesn't shake or rattle for the price you can't go wrong I will order another one for our pickup. It has a nice rolled edge I would only put a little bit of anti sieze on the threads of the clamp just in case you ever want to take it off but so far no rust or anything. Update after a salty winter....it looked crappy but once I got the road tar and stuff off with crab cleaner it polished up with ease like new. No rust nothing.

Upon reading many of the other reviews of other tips I was concerned about the sturdiness of the bracket. This thing is thick and strong, no flimsy bracket here. Tightened up no issue and these tips look great. Like the drain hole to keep water out. The rounded edges give these the look of the much more expensive tips.

Beautiful when first installed...after 150 mile camping trip, the tip is no longer chrome. It's best described as bronze or a light gold finish now. Still works but has lost it's luster. It's not worth the hassle of sending it back or possibly getting a second one that would probably end up with the same dis-coloration. Love the tip.....not sure of the finish now. Can't tell if it looks expensive or cheap......

Real nice chrome finish, good quality and only requires one toll to install
