CSI: Miami: The Complete Series

It had been a while since we'd seen any episodes of this older TV show. My husband always loved the show, so for his birthday, I purchased the entire series for him. We've been binge-watching as often as we can.I would have given this a 5-Star rating, but one of the disks was not playable at all. It would play and then pause or skip. All of the episodes on the disk were affected by this issue. That was frustrating because I can't return one disk! It really did interrupt the flow of the show.I still highly recommend this series set if you are into the CSI series. I plan on purchasing CSI Las Vegas for him for Christmas!

The CSI Miami is my wife's a favorite show and purchased the series as Christmas present. So far we made it through half of the first season and find the menu and episode selection is simple to use. No problems with playback and happy with the color, audio and resolution.

The sampling of the discs I played showed clear and high quality recordings. The packaging is sturdy although one or two discs came loose, apparently with no damage.However, the this series is described as captioned, but there are no subtitles or Closed Captions. Subtitles or captions are very useful for me, but I can usually get by with higher volume.

Of the three series, (not comparing CSI:Cyber) this is my favorite, mostly because of the characters and Horatio always expresses appreciation for jobs well done. Being able to obtain the entire series at a great price adds to the value of the series and is appreciated. My wife and I are not watching the second season and really enjoy all three series.

Just started viewing these. I find it very enlightening, I have never seen the earlier programs, especially the first few. It is a little weird at first, not being interrupted by commercials every 5 or 10 minutes, but I can get used to it. I love watching this show, the scenery and "flavor" of the program is pretty cool. Like all the other CBS shows I have liked and watched (think Northern Exposures, JAG) CBS screws up the whole concept over time by interjecting relationships into the format. I'm a guy, that crap is not what I watch what in this case is an action show (cops and robbers, good guy and bad guy, etc.) Anyway, all CD's are original CBS (or so they are labeled...) and have been quality expected.

Great show, great set, and definitely great price. Nothing for hearing impaired. Too bad, my mom does not hear good.

Had to go through and put the seasons together got it done but it should have been done before is shipped

This is the second CSI series that i have watched and while i continue to enjoy this scientific approach to crime solving, i am not enjoying this series as much as i did CSI Las Vegas. I think that this is because the key team leader character, Horatio Caine (played by David Caruso) is not as appealing as the parallel character in the LV series. Caine is a very ethical, upright and kind character but a little too fond of ‘i am the hero here’ posturing. The series writers would have done a better job here if they omitted this. On the other hand, the other CSI team members are well played as committed, skilled and very human characters as they struggle to balance their work and personal lives. The crimes that they solve are intriguing and cleverly solved amongst an awful lot of beautiful buff young bodies cavorting about on the beach. Overall, if you are a committed fan of the CSI series you will probably enjoy this one too.

I purchased this product twice the first time one of the sleeves fell apart and would freeze. So, I purchased it again thinking it was just this product but it froze in the same place which means it was a manufacture problem. The sleeves are cardboard with csi Miami pictures on them with clear sleeves held together with tape when you try to open it the tape doesn’t hold so you have to be careful opening it. Very disappointing

Iv been wanting this series for a longggg time and the price finally went down an i read what people wrote about it im definitely impressed soo far amazing packaging nothing wrong with it i checked every disc an so far they seem to be playing right... love this so much if you like this show should definitely buy it

Although we have only been able to make it through the first season, many of the discs will freeze and then skips several seconds or minutes of the episode before resuming. Very annoying and not sure if this is a fluke with the first season discs or something we will encounter throughout the series. Otherwise, the series arrived in time and my daughter was thrilled to get the whole series at once!
