I usually buy Men's Actishield Shave Gel Zia Cosmetics 5 oz Gel, but decided to try this product instead since it also had seaweed as an ingredient. This is a very similar product, no lather, more of a gel coating. However, this one has a menthol cooling-type sensation, which may make the hairs "stand up" for a better shave (hard to tell). I also prefer this bottle over the Zia bottle, but it losses a star for the artificial coloring (neon blue). I like my products to be as natural as possible. Can't go wrong with either product. In the future, I'll probably buy whatever is cheaper.
