Great book--I'd recommend this to anyone who liked the anime. The only complaint I had when reading it was that at times, certain sections seemed poorly written / a bit clumsy. Overall though, it was a great read. The characters are interesting and the plot is really unique. It's definitely the sort of book you can reread later because there are lots of little "hints" you don't pick up the first time around.

This, the second novel of the series, was adapted in only a few episodes of the first season of the anime. This book is fantastic for fans of the anime - like the first book, it places a heavier emphasis on Celty and the theme of twisted love. The writing is great and it's an exciting read, especially with the trend of ending every chapter with a chat log. The anime arc wasn't all that impressive, but this book makes the story very gripping. Buy this book!

Yeah, I love DRRR!! The characters are interesting and intriguing. the story just keeps rolling. If you've seen the anime, this gives you backstory and fills in a lot of the internal story from the characters thoughts and emotions. Very much worth the price and enjoyable.

After reading book one my teen ask for the next volume!

Honestly didn't think I'd enjoy this as much as baccano! but the writing is just astounding. Narita-sensei's character work is nothing short of incredible. If you want to read examples of how to write great characters, you need to read this series.

Technically its my 16yr old who ordered this, she likes the series.

If you have seen the Anime already, this a great way to explore a little bit more of the characters motivations and thoughts in a light reading format. Well translated and really fun reads.

Ryohgo Narita is a wonderful writer. The way he interweaves the different character stories together is what i most like about Durarara!!After reading the first one, i was not disappointed by this one.This one contains the Saika arc. I really enjoyed the part where the reporter attempts to find out ''who is Ikebukuro's Most Dangerous?''. Shuuji Niekawa has become one of my favourite characters.If you enjoyed the first one, then you definitely need to pick this one up.

Loved the second volume where we dont get new characters instead we get the spotlight on characters who didnt shine much in the first volume

It you loves the anime then I highly recommend you read the light novels

So glad I can buy my favourite novels officially translated :D
