Panda 1.34 Cu.Ft. Portable Washing Machine, Fully Automatic Portable Washer

I'm so happy to have received my washing machine. My order came in 4 days earlier thank expected and came as new. It's much bigger than I expected(reaches upto my waist); will be trying it out Today to see how it works. Thanks to all who have made their comments review, this was very helpful in making the right selection and additional things to have before hooking this washing machine. Have a great day!OK, so I didn't try it out the day I got it, keep reading you will know why.I am happy to report that I have used the Panda machine for 5 straight days now and I have been able to wash a good stack of clothes, process is pretty simple (although, not quite that clear on the manual) and noise level is not too bad. When using option #7 for Washing & Rinse, unfortunately the washer ends the cycle by leaving water inside, (by the way during the wash process which is about 45 minutes, it does drain water 3 times) therefore the next step is selecting #9 to drain the water and spin, which is great but does leave clothes quite damped, however, for better results one will have to select #10 (air dry) in order to have clothes feel like they are at least 95% dry, but it's still slightly damped. After hanging them up they were most all dried by the end of the day. However, If you use a fan it will be half that time, depending material.Also, another cool feature is being able to add more water while the cycle is washing (if the machine does not fill up to the level you desire based on the amount of clothing you have added). I was able to add the following items to each wash load: 1st wash-3 medium size towels and 2 small ones. 2nd wash-5 large male shirts and 2 shorts, 3rd wash-10 pairs of male underwear's, 4th wash-10 pairs of sock, 5th wash-7 male dress shirts (2 short sleeve and 5 long sleeves) 6th wash-2 Dresses 4 tang tops, 2 sweaters, 2 spandex tights, 1 skirt and 2 underwear's and 1 exercise bra.To void any water spill/damage (which by the way can happen if one is not careful) I decided to use a large dog tray underneath the washer just in case. Since neighbors can hear the vibration of the washer, I plan to place a noise reduction rug to help minimize that, this way I help keep the peace by not annoying my neighbors.(One must try to think of others before oneself). Another good piece of information is that you do not have to purchase an irrigation blow out winterization kit( Short term for adaptor, which can be found in the garden section of Lowes or Home depot). I purchase it because someone recommended it on a review (I was searching for the same machine on different sites to get the best price deal), but the hose to this washer already has an adapted inside of it, I didn't realize this because after reading that review I thought I needed to purchase it and so I did not bother reading the manual (duh) should I have done that, I would have discovered it and saved multiple hours of stress trying to find it, nonetheless, the good news is that we discovered it by inserting the new adapter (which did not fit) because there was one already inside hose, so that was a sense of relieve, no more purchasing. My husband didn't think it fit. (yet after my attempt, it did) Lol. So don't waste your time buying an additional adapter unless you really need to.My conclusion is that I absolutely love this machine, I'm glad I took the time to read the review and make the best desicion for me. It easily fits in my pantry area, where I can easily plug and attach the adapter to the kitchen sink. I will be taking care of it, so it can last me for many years to come.Well that cover's it for me, I hope this is very helpful. Good luck on your purchase.

4 years ago, I moved to an apartment with no washer or dryer, and I didn't last long before looking into a solution for the major headache laundry had now become. Everywhere I looked, I saw recommendations for this washer. I was as nervous as any rational person would be, buying a $300 Chinese washer from Amazon, but decided to bite the bullet since other options seemed like such a hassle.Well, after 3 years of use, I can say this thing has paid for itself in both time and money countless times! Laundry day looks like this: I pull the washer a few feet into position near the bathtub (no extra rolly cart needed in my case; it slides well enough on linoleum). I plug in the power cord, attach the faucet hose, and hang the water outlet hose in the tub. I press 3 buttons to start it, and turn on the water. Then I just sit nearby and read a book to make sure it doesn't flood my apartment (hasn't happened yet). 25 minutes later, I have clean clothes.You would not believe how brown the water is after the first rinse compared to the second...this thing seriously works, and it's so efficient, I've only needed to buy a few bottles of laundry detergent! And it just keeps going. The spin cycle is powerful and clothes are only damp in the end, so drying takes less than 2 days. The drum has gotten a little noisier over time, but considering I overload it almost every time, I'm not surprised. Nothing bad has come of that yet, though. It can take some abuse!I was a little worried about the effect the backpressure would have on the pipes of a house built in the 1800s, but I have yet to have any issues there. If you have the same worry, you can easily eliminate most of the pressure by turning off the faucet it's connected to once the washer stops filling. I've forgotten to do it many times and haven't had a problem.10/10, best tiny washer, couldn't ask for better.EDIT: Year 4 update, the hinge on the lid finally broke like another reviewer's. This seems to be a weak point - the hinge mechanism is held onto the lid by thin plastic that's bound to break after repeated stress of opening and closing the lid. Definitely be gentle with it! The machine detects if the lid is open and won't run if it is, so it could become unusable. Mine still works for now, so I'll see how long it lasts. I'm still happy with this machine and would buy another when it dies; it's more than paid for itself in dollars and hours spent at the laundromat.

So, a couple years ago we got a portable dishwasher which taught me the joys of portable appliances. So I knew these existed but with a laundry room in the corner of our building just a few doors and a flight of stairs away- we didn't really see the point in getting one.Then I got hurt.Even though the laundry room isn't that far, those stairs otoh were *painful* for me so, since the husband was on the road, we started talking about getting a portable washing machine. We eventually decided against it when the husband changed vocations to a tech gig where he can work from home. He's home to help me so, that kind of killed that.Then 2020 came. And the coin shortage hit. And stuck around for several *months.* And, the conversation came up yet again.Third time is the charm I guess cause, he caved. :DSo, these are my initial impressions and if there's anything else I encounter over the coming months, I'll post it below.Is it easy?For us, it worked right out of the box. With an adapter already installed on the kitchen faucet for the dishwasher, the quick release hose fit just fine already-- in fact, the only thing we "had" to buy was a dolly but that was only because we're on the second floor and it's quieter (and slightly easier) to roll in and out of position than the wheels that it already has. Were we on the ground floor, we wouldn't have bothered. So, extra points for the little wheels. They were a nice touch.I also like the separate options- for example it can do just a rinse and spin or even just a spin if you want as well as adjust the water level. These have already proven useful for us since if you're going to overload it (and let's face facts, *everyone* overloads *any* washing machine at *some* point) you can throw it through an extra wash or an extra rinse or whatever. That's actually kinda nice.The handholds were a thoughtful touch as well. As were the little hooks for the power cord and the drain hose. In fact, I really like the drain hose holder thing so that you can just hook it onto something (like a dish rack for example) and not have to worry about it flopping out of the sink. Water pressure is also low enough that it doesn't cause the hose to jerk around either.So, good job on the details.Now, how loud is it?Obviously, the heavier the load-- the louder it's going to be but, so far? With a normal load, it's actually quieter than my dishwasher even when it spins. The only loud thing about it is the beep at the end of the cycle but, honestly? The beep isn't any louder than my microwave or even my instapot. In fact, it's the exact same beep as both my instapot and my dishwasher. Go figure. lol.Point is that in an open concept apartment, the husband can be working his phone job in the living "room" area while the washing machine is in the kitchen and neither customers nor bosses on the phone can hear anything other than the beeps. (He's claiming that a dump truck is backing up outside if he forgets to hit the mute when it comes to an end.)Finally, how much can it wash?Obviously, it's portable so it's not going to handle the same amount as a full sized machine but, otoh, it's not coin operated so you can go to town and wash whenever you want. ;)Basically? I managed to get a Full sized comforter that was a bit on the thin side through with a little babysitting. Yeah, it took a little manipulating of the load partway through and two rinses but, it went through and since that's the largest item that we have in regular use, that's okay.Now, I would probably prefer the coin op for it because while it came out cleaner, I can't bet my life on it coming out as absolutely clean as it can possibly be but again, right now we have a coin shortage and it really needs to be washed once a month at least-- so, we're at "needs must" territory when it comes to that blanket to be honest.Still, point *is* that it's right on that edge so if your blanket/comforter is super thick and/or Queen sized or larger, you're still gonna have to use the laundromat for that item.To be fair though, I honestly don't see how *any* portable washing machine could handle that old comforter of mine with aplomb anyway so, I'm seriously not docking them any for that.In short? It's wonderful. It really, really is. We don't have to "scout" whether or not there's a washer that's available anymore, we don't have to try to track down a bank that's still willing to give out quarters every couple of weeks (fewer and fewer branches seem to be doing that these days even before the shortage), and we don't have to avoid using the dish towels and cloth napkins either. Really, I foresee our paper towel usage go down as a result.So, yeah, I love this thing! I really, really do. :DEdit:We are now into the first part of 2023 and it's still going strong.Here's some more long term things that I've noticed during that time.1) it is still *really* easy to overdo the soap!!!I blame a lifetime of regular sized washing machines but this thing takes practically almost none.2) it's also still kind of easy to try to overload it.Again. I blame myself and not the machine for that.Obviously, if you overlaod any machine too much or put in too much soap, you run the risk of getting those dreaded white streaks but a good trick for preventing that is to use the small, collapsable drying rack we bought as my guide because the perfect load seems to be just what that rack holds. Which is a really good guide, actually.As I mentioned before though, it really isn't that big of a deal because we can easily do another load the next day. Frankly, given that by my calculations, this thing has fully paid for itself by the end of 2021 and has been actively saving us a small fortune in this last year.... I am more than okay with that. In fact, since the loads *are* so quick and easily taken care of, we have found ourselves not procrastinating on doing the laundry anymore. :D

In short, I believe this washing machine is perfect IF:A. You're tired of visiting laundromatsB. You need a washing machine large enough to wash blankets and/or pillowsC. You're willing to sacrifice alittle bit of floor space in order to get the benefits of "A" and "B."When you live full time in less than 250 sq ft of space, you learn to get creative and prioritize what matters to you. After 2 years of visiting laundromats, I began to look for a solution to installing a portable washing machine in our RV. If you've ever put "best RV washing machines" into a search engine, you'll know you'll come up with dozens of makes, models, and sizes to choose from.I knew I wanted an electric model (there are old-school "manual" washing methods out there. Not against that, but in a family of 4 with 5 dogs and 2 cats, that isn't practical for us in the long term).I knew I wanted a larger model. They have tiny...and I mean REALLY small washing machines out there, but I wanted something that I could wash basic bedding in it if I needed to, like a pillow or a blanket. This machine is the equivalent of washing half of what a "normal" home washing machine can do, BUT it's still large enough to wash a standard-size pillow in. (obviously, to wash a massive comforter or our giant weighted blankets, I'll have to go to a Laundromat, but that was always true even with a larger machine at our house).Lastly, I love this machine because not only does it spin the clothes REALLY well, so they don't need a long time to line-dry, there is an "air dry" feature built into the washing machine (takes an extra 60 minutes, but especially for heavier items like towels and jeans it's totally worth it).Trade off? We lost some floor space in our 2nd bathroom. We can still use the toilet, sink, and shower, it's just alittle tighter than it once was. For us, this was a win, because we wanted a washing machine that could actually...you know...keep up with our family and wash all our clothes. AND that hose is a "quick disconnect," so it's super easy to remove and we can still use the sink for washing hands, getting ready in the morning, etc.To address some of the negative reviews -- first of all, read the Manual. #1...because it's hilarious, as the native-language-to-English- translation is comical.#2. Because it addresses ALL of the problems people are mentioning, like:Leaking? Well, check your hose connections, and it says right in there to make sure to not overfill the washing machine with water as it can splash out of the drum. The bottom of this machine is "open," meaning any water splashing out of the drum will go on your floor. We put shams down, in our case, just in case that should happen.Oh, it's not filling up with water? They tell you how to add more, at any point, during the wash cycle, if the water level isn't up to your expectations.Water comes out of the drain hose too fast? Yep, it does. Cuz it's draining it. And it may overflow a tiny RV sink, so find a bigger drain (like the one in a shower).In short, like everything in the RV world, you have to prioritize what's important to you. What you need, and what you're willing to sacrifice (if need be) to fulfill that need. For us, this machine is a game changer, a life changer, that will help make things easier for many years to come by saving us time, energy, and even money in the long run...and the only thing we sacrificed is unused floor space in a bathroom we typically only use in the morning and at night.For us, it was a win-win-win.

UPDATE: We had a baby so our family grew to 6 members and this machine is going strong. We wash every 2-3 days and we do about two loads each time. That equals to about 1 regular load. It is handling cloth diapers and cloth pads like a champ. Baby clothes as well as work clothes. Hubby works in construction. We hang dry in an IKEA rack (the largest white one they have is the largest rack I’ve been able to find. Larger than anything on amazon and it’s well designed and super inexpensive- highly recommend). So glad we don’t have to haul all 4 kids to the coin laundry in the desert heat. The hubby gives me a gold star for this purchase 🤣 because as a nursing mother, amazon can be dangerous at night when you’re awake at all hours of the night 🤫🥴😇😅ORIGINAL REVIEW:We’ve been using this washer for a couple weeks nowIt did arrive with a huge crack inside the barrel but the machine is quite heavy and difficult to unpack and my husband didn’t want to go through the trouble of repacking it and shipping it back. So we decided to keep it. I’m still quite disappointed in that because whomever shipped it, knew it was cracked. They likely grabbed it from the lip of the barrel when they tried to box it up and it must have broken that way. And instead of sending me one that was un damaged, they decided to just continue and ship it off like that. Not a good sign in terms of their employees.Other than the crack it’s been working great. It washes clothes better than the coin laundry where my husband was taking the clothes (I’m on bed rest). And the water comes out really dark so you can tell it’s actually getting stuff cleanWe will be using this with cloth diapers pretty soon.The size is perfect because we are in an apartment. Our family size is pretty large and it wasn’t economically feasible to keep going to the coin laundry.I’d compare this size to half the size of a coin laundry machine. Not bad. So when we wash, we do two loads. And it doesn’t take longI did purchase a separate rolling caddy thing to make it easier to maneuver.We got the one with the blue lid. I didn’t like the color on the yellow lid. The model number is slightly different but I believe that’s due to the color. I love this thing so much, and I dare say it’s probably the best washer I’ve ever had. I’ve had two different front load machines that were top of the line, not to mention others. I won’t bother you with the details of. I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad machine, but this is honestly pretty awesome. In a compact package. It holds a weeks worth of laundry for me as a single person. I’m able to manage it on my own without issue, which would be a struggle if it was a full size washer. I was able to unboxed it myself without any issues. I bought a little squared dolly to mobilize it easier and it feels almost weightless since I got that for it. I usually use the short wash cycle which is under 30 minutes. The Settings aren’t necessarily intuitive, but once you get your basic preference down, it’s just a couple of button clicks. I primarily wear wool clothes so they come out remarkably dry, and I air dry them on a folding rack. When I do my towels and suck, they also come out way more dry than any other washer I’ve ever had. This saves me time and energy. The connection is easy to hook up to the sink and unhook. The lint trap is easy to clean. And it’s remarkable how well it works. I keep a screen type strainer in the sink to catch any other lint when the washer drains. I see how effective it is it cleaning with even the slightest discoloration in the water, using a natural soap for my clothes. I’ve not experienced any smells, mildew, etc.. I’ve only had it for three months, so I hope it holds up for a good while. It was well worth the money. Just for the convenience and time and energy it has saved me.

The Panda washing machine is really wonderful. Great size for my apartment bathroom.1. Super quiet. I was so surprised at how powerful yet quiet this machine is. Unless you are right next to it, you don’t hear it during any of the cycles. (see video)2. Strong pump. Water flows right out during the 2 rinse cycles & spin cycle. Clothes are barely damp when wash is done (see photo)3. Controls are easy to understand & use. Multiple water levels to choose from. Multiple functional options. I like that it flashes the time remaining & cycle code throughout the wash.4. Easy to hook up to my bathroom sink. The adapter is easy to couple/uncouple & it’s 100% leak proof. No issues.5. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cleaning. First rinse cycle, water is dirty. Second rinse cycle, water is clean. Spin cycle, water is crystal clear. Super job washing.The one issue I have is the hose will fly out of the sink while draining if you do not secure it somehow. I saw a review where the used a pot cover to hold/weigh down the hose in the sink. This is a good temporary solution for me.( see photo) I will be looking for some kind of weight that I can secure to the hose as a permanent solution. If Panda can solve this problem, the machine would be perfect.I bought the Washer & Dolly package. The dolly’s wheel struggle with the 50# machine. Does not roll well. I have to lean into it to push it the 4ft to the sink & back. It’s ok, but not great. Just an fyiI really love my Panda Washer. It is going to pay for itself in offset laundromat costs within 6 months. I am so happy I can do my laundry at home, now. This machine has easily handles daily clothes, a load if towels & a load of sweaters, no problem. It’s a workhorse.Highly recommend.

How I love thee, lemme count the ways...This fully automatic washing machine has a 1.7 cf capacity but only 1.6 cf of it should only be used if you're going to use a full load of laundry.It's a matter of Fluid Dynamics as it is the maximum capacity for a small washing machine to wash clothes for great efficiency.It works well and this view is obvious to me and very convincing. Well, there are others but for a home it works almost perfectly. So, in other words, there's no pressing down on the clothes as the soapy water covers all or nearly equally when the clothes are fully submerged that doesn't take time. Great!I find the panel on the machine, neat and handsome, the LED color blue, unusual but not alien. The nice cutsey tweeks as it sounds when selecting various features say, cold, warm, and hot for the water temperature, I found seamless and highly intuitive. I use warm water and not hot at all as the wash water is a soaking and wash medium but shouldn't take a further part in washing clothes.The use of hot water to me would break the machine and damage clothes.Ideally, the water should be luke warm or barely warm to warm in temperature. I allow the selection of laundry detergent for HE washing machines with no excess sudsy water.If I do, the machine will break. If I use detergent for very sudsy water, I mean, the machine will break!The washing machine is of high quality considering the price paid. The washing machine under normal use for a series of test runs would break after 50 washings in succession for Mechanical Entropy.This is impressive!The little tweeks and sudden switches I heard made me at first have a cheap sense of flimsiness and the feel of the top cover and the run, flimsey in comparison to the last machine I have, a Haier. I first hated this latest version of the washing machine from Panda.I did not know at this point that these initial superficial views and feel only meant the washing machine is absolutely brand new.The drain pump sounds a little distressing and a little loud, but works well and works thoroughly almost like the last machine I have and will always have for personal reasons.The hose attachment for the intake of water from the faucet and the drain tube are a snap and fit well, all instantly and seamlessly without putting weights on the drain hose to prevent it from going all over the place. The faucet adaptor might give a little, minor problem at first. But it's all to specs and it works without a leak. Well, maybe a little dribble, that's all. What was impressive was the drain hose! It was simply made for my sink. I just place the drain hose on the sink, the drain end of it rests on the basin of the sink and that was it! Terrific.It's fully automatic. I can go to bed for a nap or go out for a snack and it works perfectly without any unexpected spill.I'm so impressed with it, all. I also did blankets and a bathroom rug. I thought I might need to go to the laundromat which I hate to do. But I didn't need to.They all come out nice and clean, almost like new!Now, I absolutely LOVE my Panda Washing Machine! I can almost say, I can easily almost gladly pay another $100 for it. But, I'll let you decide for yourself, whether you would or not.

Its amazingly bigger and sturdier than anticipated. This is all metal around with desing care in mind. From the manual it says theres even a pump filter access. Ive never had access to that on normal machines before. Its about the size of my normal machine , little bit off the sides , pretty much same height but no head assembly protruding, as for the basket its like half the size of a normal one in depth but similar opening, that was a pleasant surprised as its always hard to know just by advertisement and picture, and like mirror in my car the object is larger than it first appeared to me.Havent tried it yet as it arrived a week early. Other plesant surprise as this is an emercency replacement .Im about to plug it , If theres an issue i will correct back my message but so far this is perfect.

3 months into using it works great just make sure the floor under it is levelled also pretty quiteWhen you use it make sure the water is set to cold wash unless you have the other hot water plug attached or you’ll get an error

I absolutely love this washer. After having a twin tub portable washer that served me well for 4 years, I wanted an all-in-one machine, so I didnt have to supervise or switch from wash to spin.I did extensive research for weeks & read endless reviews on dozens of portable washers. This being a relatively large purchase, I wasn't sure, but trust me- it's WELL worth it!!!!I'm all about a satisfy-buy, and this is on the top of that list. More like an investment, since I won't have to hit the laundrymat every 2 weeks or use the public facilities in my building. Although this one was $200-$250 CAD more expensive than others, it will pay for itself after a single months use. The delivery was three days sooner than expected.It's exactly like a mini washer, and came with the quick connect adapter that hooks up to my kitchen sink with ease. It sits just under countertop height and is 2 ft x 2 ft wide. I am a night person & do laundry at all hours day or night, which meant I needed a quiet machine. This Panda is very quiet during the wash cycle & when the spin cycle is on the unit doesn't shake or move at all. The clothes are slightly damp at the end so hang drying will take no time at all. I'll still use the dryer in my apartment building so my towels aren't crunchy, but I'll be able to put 8-10 towels (that would equal 3-4 washer loads) in the dryer at once. We have a king size bed so I'll be doing sheets next! Yay! I'll update this review should it not work out. No update= no issues!!! Love this washer, look no further, buy it! I want to get the Panda compact dryer too!*** Update*** When you put the drain hose in the sink- I suggest you put something heavy on it or duct tape it to the counter (my bf haha) but seriously, watch that hose....one day i started a wash cycle before i ran to the store. When i returned my little apartment was three inches deep in waster. Thankfully (as you see in the pictures) no carpet. Now, this was the first- and only- issue I've ever had with it, but I'm not sure if the drain hose flipped out of the sink on its own, or if my rebel cat did it (always on the counter messing with things, grr) but I'll never know.I just put a zip tie around the faucet to hook the hose onto, I haven't had a flood since! Despite that incident, I Still stand strong on my recommendation to buy this machine. It has saved me thousands of dollars in both gas and laundry mat expenses.

Comes with 3/4 connections on both ends of the included hoses and the faucet adapter doesn't work with sprayer faucets, so i had to buy hoses with a 3/8 compression on one end and tee off the 3/8 water supply to the faucet. It works well but the water seems to splash a little bit off of the drum sometimes (EDIT: It was because the powder was in a pile and flattening it out fixes that as well as making sure the drawer is fully shut) on the first fill for the wash cycle if it is tilted slightly the wrong way after loading clothes and my wife though it was leaking at first. Couldn't find any support information for this company anywhere, not even in the manual that is included. Funny that it says 'before calling for service' in the troubleshooting while not including any contact info or recommendations whatsoever to follow up with. The detergent drawer seems to be different from the one depicted in the manual and seems to have two compartments, one apparently for fabric softener, while the manual claims it is only to be used with powder. Make sure you have it inserted properly because this is where the water is dispensed from as well. Liquid works fine but make sure it is HE detergent. The drain hose could be better quality but it will do for now. MAKE THE DRAIN HOSE IS SECURED SO YOU DO NOT GET WATER EVERYWHERE IF WASHING UNATTENDED. Be sure that the machine is level too. If you carefully follow all the necessary steps the machine works well, but it's not difficult to do something wrong and have an issue. It can be fickle.
