Villette [Annotated]

The quality of the printing and annotation are very poor - Huge size, barely any margins - this book looks more like a bound printed pdf than a novel. The “annotation” consists of a few pages at the end and is bizarre to say the least. The story is wonderful!

Considered her best work by many.

This "annotated version" was written by someone not majoring in English, and I think not from U.S. (which is ok, but shouldn't be obvious). Misspelled words and lots of line spacing errors. Plus, I thought I'd receive the typical 5x8, but got a 8.5 x11 ... weird.

This edition is not a standard book size but that of a large magazine. I have found it difficult to read novels in a volume with this size format.Additionally, the 'annotation' is a few pages of general information. I would expect something much more in an edition that is described as 'annotated' in both size and specificity.I would not recommend this edition.
