I bought these Amazon Basics replacement water filters for my Brita pitcher at the same time I restocked with the "name brand / OEM" BritaPlus filters so I could compare the 2 directly . The Amazon Basics filter is at least as good as the BritaPlus. "Flow Through" of filtered water was consistently fast and the taste of the filtered water was excellent up to the day I replaced it. It filtered roughly 40 gallons of water before I could detect a need to replace it (based on taste) The Amazon Basics are excellent quality and cheaper than BritaPlus; a winner all around.

These replacement filters for Brita or Brita-like water pitchers/dispensers work as well as the name-brand ones. I can't tell a difference in the taste of the water vs. other filters. They fit perfectly. They make a big difference in the taste of tap water, which is rather awful-tasting where I live. I'm so glad to have this option that's friendlier than diposable plastic water bottles. I'm pleased with the price and quality of these filters. I haven't noticed a difference in speed between this and any other water filter.
