Works as it should
Works amazing! Have a house built in the 60s and all of our fans are set up on a single switch so to turn the light off and on and keep the fan on, we always had to walk into the room and pull the string. Purchased this for a room with switches on the opposite sides of the room that wouldn't accommodate the built in wall control. As per another person posted, I mounted the holder by putting the top screw from the wall switch plate into the bottom hole of the bracket and works like a charm! I will definitely be getting one for the other switch on the wall :-)as for the comments I've seen about the receiver being too big, it is the standard size of receiver and no, it will not work with all style ceiling fans. The wider the base the better, and if you have the resources, you can always put it above the ceiling, but that's a lot more work than I think most people are willing to do. I have been using it for about 4 months now without any issues with the signal as well. Great product!

Tight fit for receiver in fan. Works perfectly.
It's a ceiling fan remote. They all come with a receiver that must be installed in the canopy of the fan and wired in between the fan and ceiling power supply. This one works instantly with a soft touch and has a good range. Weird quirk that high speed is button 1 while low speed is button 3. What I liked is that it was instantly recognized by the Bond Home automation bridge that allows me to control the fan with Alexa.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071GVGVVH/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_nw_mr

Works great
I like the features and the quality. The dimmer feature works fine.

Works, but...
The device works, will need two people to install though I installed it by myself (which anything with fan installation is a huge pain in the rear no matter how you swing it), and does the job. I recommend you set your fan to Max fan speed with the light on before you switch to using them this only being it will control all of that for you.Now for the interesting stuff. I don't know how the heck they expect this module to fit inside the fan cover above the downrod. It is huge, about 4/5 the size of a dollar bill and a little thick. I'm sure we could have come up with better technology than this that had a smaller form factor, TBH. Secondly, the way they numbered the fan speeds is a little weird, i.e. 3 is low and one is high speed. Not a huge issue, but kind of backwards if you think about it. The remote would be nice to have some sort of lighting on it as well so you can see it in the dark, even if it had one small LED that didn't draw a bunch of power out of the batteries. It's a little bit spendy but not too bad and if you have a home with a fan that does not have a separate fan switch, this is convenient versus wiring an entire circuit in through your attic, especially if you are on three wire wiring versus four wire that has a load wire involved. I may still try to find a different fan in the future because I just have this thing hanging from its wires tight against the ceiling as I could get it but it's a bit of an eyesore. The instructions are pretty straightforward, but a complete novice to electrical stuff should seek professional assistance, in my opinion. Finally, I reiterate there is no way it will fit inside the finishing cover above the downrod / fan assembly to be out of sight aesthetically...unless your fan has a very large finishing cover (most of what I've seen do not). I would suggest thinking on it a little bit before buying it unless you find a way to tuck it up in the ceiling somehow.

Thank goodness for a wife with a sense of humor.
So. It fits and works perfectly. Easy install the fan was a pain to install but the remote receiver was not. Color coded wires. And..... aa a funny side note. It's easy to change the frequency just in case you have a sleeping wife upstairs and u work midnights. U come home at 4am and the downstairs remote to the light and fan turns on the bedroom one.. wife has a good sense of humor thank goodness.

Doesn't work like it should
UPDATE - After a year or so dealing with the lights not always coming on when I flip the wall switch, and dealing with the backward controls (1 was fast and 3 was slow), I replaced this controller with another brand. The lights and fan work perfect now.ORIGINAL REVIEW - So, I've only installed five or six fan remotes in my life. They aren't difficult to install. However, this one doesn't work like it should. About 30 percent of the time, the light won't turn on and I have to flip the switch again, and the speeds are backward (1 for fast, 3 for slow). I put a different brand in my other room and it works perfect.

Good price Solved the problem
Good overall. I would t say it’s easy to install. We tripped up over a couple of wrong wire coupling. The internal part of the remote that lives mounted on the ceiling fan MAY NOT FIT INSIDE HIDDEN as installations suggest and indicate to do. We had to leave it out and can be seen and not very attractive.

Great replacement for our ceiling fan
Our ceiling fan receiver died and this worked as a great replacement.
