Magic Absorbent Ultra Thin Lambskin Leather Insoles with Breathable Activated Carbon Bottom

I love the feel of this leather on my bare feet. Also, a bit of extra pad is wonderful in my shoes that can accommodate the space without being too tight. These are more like a "Liner" than many of today's insoles (very thin). But, for shoes that I can't remove the original insole they work fine.

I like that they are thin, but are too narrow for my shoes, leaves my toes hanging off the sides. I guess they would work for dress shoes. They also seem to have a vinyl coating that makes them stick to your bare foot. ( I didn't expect real leather to stick so easily.)

I just wanted a very thin leather insole to cover a gap in the footbed of a new pair of cowboy boots I had purchased. The tiny gap caused my sock to fill it up and then I'd get a blister from that tiny fold in my sock. These insoles, with a small piece of double-sided tape, were just the fix that I needed for my issue.That being said, I have no idea what other purpose these insoles would provide. They are too thin to provide additional cushioning or support. The only other good use for them would maybe be to replace an existing insole liner to a dress shoe. But they worked great for what I was looking for.

First off, I like the comfort of Lambskin very breathable, however after continued use for 4months they start to disintegrate. They break at the fold in the sole of the foot in half. I believe because of the organic nature of Lambskin that absorbs the sweat contributes to its breakage! However, I tried others and they stick when removing foot from shoes and say they are Leather but just cheaper vinyl! I might reorder these again just because of its comfort, but still undecided.

These are fantastic in a way I didn't expect. When I had some cork sandals (Kork-Ease Myrna 2.0) that started to smell like vinegar after getting wet in the rain, I didn't know what I was looking for or if it was possible to salvage them. The shoes I had are women's 7, although most of the time I wear a 6.5, and I ordered the EU 36 (US women's 5.5) so that I could leave a bit of the original cork insole under my toes. The insoles wound up fitting perfectly like I wanted, leaving about half an inch of the original insole when lined up against the heel of the sandal.I never had shoes smell like that before, so I didn't know what to do. I tried putting them in the freezer for several weeks with baking soda, and cleaning them with rubbing alcohol. Those both worked to remove the smell temporarily, but it would come back after I wore them again. I wound up cleaning the insoles with kitchen Lysol, leaving them to dry in the sun for a day. After veryifying that the existing smell was gone after the Lysol treatment, I glued the new insoles in with rubber cement (There's no adhesive on the bottom!) and have worn them several times in the Texas heat, walking several miles each time. Guess what? They don't smell at all! The leather is soft and comfortable.I couldn't be happier with this product and am really glad I didn't have to throw out my shoes. I am strongly considering buying more for flats that have no cushioning on the bottom or that have a tendency to stick to my feet.

Soft and comfortable. Put into my huarache sandals that stretched out a bit too much.

Real leather, but at a price. Time will tell re quality.
